We have been cave tubing several times. In addition, we were just in Belize last and went cave rafting where you go down the same river using small inflatable kayaks instead of tubes.

 

The water was cool, but not really cold and we did not see bat crap.

Yep....a bat pooped on my leg, in the cave, while tubing in May 2015....Ugh.:D

We were on the CCL Magic March 9-13 and received a casino free cruise in our mailbox outside the door with no dates listed. Has anyone ever received one of these? It's husband that gets the offers. He called Carnival agent we always use, chose a date and trip. Husband called back and oops she made a mistake and there aren't any cruises out of Galveston on dates I am out of school. I have 70 days and go Platinum on next cruise. If not I would be cruising with another company because there is always something irritating with CCL

Yes, I booked my FREE players cruise. Leaving July 25th from Galveston. Freedom. Empress Deck Window Room right under Bridge. amazing for free! Could have gone to Alaska even, but didn't want to pay for a flight. Lol. Third Cruise Never any problems. Sorry you've been disappointed. Maybe will work out next time.

There are refrigerators in the carnival magic staterooms

I Won Lost Won Lost on Carnival Magic in May....had a free cruise for 2 voucher from the casino waiting in my room on Saturday evening! Taking THAT free one on July 25th on the Freedom and YES I bought our FTTF! Can't Wait!

Yes, policies changed....even with security checks they know people sneak in alcolhol in the water bottles and luggage so all that changes. NO screw top water or screw top soft drinks. The 12 pack waters are 2.99 on line through the gift shop charged to your cc or debit plus tax before sail. IF you WAIT until that day of sail or AFTER sail....I do not recall, it's a 4.99 PLUS gratuity fee per 12 pack....that is still less than $1 a bottle. Cheap! All the ports sell it for $1 a bottle I think Honduras is where I pd $2 for one. Anyway considering they sold it for 3.50, that quite cheaper. Cans are still approved for other drinks. Everyone brings in wine by the glass to their table....could have been served to you in the CASINO. They do not know, the BARS....they do not know...yes, $15 to uncork in the restaurant. Bring Sutterhome or something else delightful that unscrews. You'll love Magic! Sailed May 2015 and April 2014 Enjoy! Yes, alchol cards, if one person in the stateroom wants one...everyone over 21 has to buy....the soft drink cards are the same, I believe. Have fun!

Are there any hotels in Galveston that do free or cheap cruise parking?

Inn At The Waterpark by Schlitterbahn use to include FREE parking with an overnight cruise guest room. Parking at the port is $65 if you book online. :)
