  1. I know this has been mentioned before since I have read up on some threads. What I still have a question on is multiple people. My husband and three kids are taking a zipline tour next week in PV. There will be multiple people helping them, etc. throughout the six hour excursion. How in the world do you factor in tips for all those people for four of us? I can't break the bank as the excursion was already pricy but I won't go without tipping either. Do they split tips if you give it to just one person or do you have to be tipping all over the place? Likewise, a catamaran down to las caletas will have entertainment on board. Do I have to tip all of them?

  2. Since we will be gone on Easter, my kids got to pick a few of their favorite candies, a small bag of goldfish and some nuts. I put the sweet in one ziploc with their name on it and salty in another. I found I like those little munchies that you can't find on the ship. We love it when playing cards or hanging out in the cabin. We just put ours in a suitcase

  3. I never noticed any ice cream offerings while on the Jewel last summer. I'm sure dh and I would have ordered a banana split!!!! ha!

Is the ice cream only offered on certain ships?

We were on the jewel a year ago and never noticed any ice cream offerings either. I hate how it isn't complimentary. My kids prefer just ice cream, not fancy desserts. So they used to have a brownie sundae and took that away?

package 2 is 79 dollars gets cd with all photos 2 6x8 prints per person, 1 poster 12x18 and gopro video clips.

package 3 129 cd with all photos 2 6x8 prints per person, 1 poster 12x18, gopro video clips, and hard covered photo book with 30 pictures.

So the pricing is per person? Or I can pay $129 and get it for my husband and three kids?

  5. I found an excursion for cabo to book for my family but it says minimum age is 8. My dd is 7 1/2. They said they check documentation and she wouldn't be able to go! Most ship excursions for cabo say age 8 and up. Feeling frustrated. The same one booked off ship will cost $110 more total and they accept her fine...would be interesting to see if it was the Sam company. Her dad would share the kayak and would paddle out just fine with her. Grrrrr, has anyone fudged and gotten away with it or do they really check it on the ship? I can load it in my cart online just fine.

  6. I have yet to be on a cruise where the ship time and local time are different. Every cruise we have been on have asked to change our clocks to match local time - even if it is for just a day. One cruise I was changing the time so often I wondered what time zone I was really in:eek::rolleyes:

Ha, ha!! Reminds me of our first cruise several years ago to Alaska. Time changed several times and with the sun being up until who knows when, I never knew what time it was!

  7. We are going on the star in two weeks and I wanted to know if the ship time matches the local time. I'm thinking of booking an excursion off the ship and need to know.

By the way, is it okay to mention an excursion company on here?

  8. It's just a rumor. I live in Cabo six months a year, I am here right now.

The arch is in great shape. Lover's Beach as well as Medano Beach have shrunk, but they will regenerate themselves. Tours are going out daily to the arch. The whales are one of the biggest populations seen in awhile. They are still plentiful right now.

We will be in cabo in just over two weeks. Think the whales will be all gone by then? :(
