I will wear my lanyard proudly(I look at it as a FUN accessory) on the ship only of course. One thing about looking like a tourist...ITS OBVIOUS no matter what you do..and guess what its OK. I am usually a land vaca'er and have spent many days in many different countries. And when the ship rolls into port its quite noticable, so if you think the locals dont know that you are a tourist, your only kidding yourself, just be aware of your surroundings and have a BLAST.

Love it and laughing all the way to Hobby Lobby to pick up supplies so that everyone in my group has one as unique as they are. They are not newbies, only me, but by golly they will wear it with a smile. LOL :D

This has been some great reading!!! Love the tip about the clips for shower curtain AND flamless candle for nightlight and scent. Thank you for alll the great information for this is my first cruise. Going with family members who have frequented this cruise and love it, yet I have always preferred land vaca's, maybe this will change my mind. Very excited:o
