Hi. What a great review. You are the only person I have seen that had the Filet Mignon at guys on the first night. My wife dislikes BBQ but loves Filet. Does the filet have BBQ sauce on it or is it just whole roasted BBQ style? Thanks again for the review. We board tomorrow, I can't wait.

My Sun cruise to Alaska in September has been cancelled. If I am reading this correctly, If I rebook a cruise, I get 20% off. If I book 2 cruises would I get 20% off both? I would think not but has anyone done this?

We did it in October and we got to the airport before the airline desk opened. We did self debarkation and was really easy. Walked off the ship, into a cab and 20 minutes to the airport

2/3 Gem sailing. BD balcony to a Mini Suite for $50/person. I bid $350/person for a Front Facing Penthouse. Not enough I guess. Anybody get a successful bid on this category? Would love to know how much more I needed.

Sailing on the 2/3/18 sailing on the Gem. Has anybody heard about any upgrades for this cruise? We are in a forward balcony and bid on a minisuite and Penthouse suite. Lots of both rooms available. I wonder if we have less of a chance because we booked on the all 5 promotion and distinctive voyage promotions.

I am on the Gem in February with both promo's and on my NCL I only have $50 each port and only 250 minutes. Do I call NCL to fix this or my travel agent. I am still trying to get confirmation from my TA on the flights and hotel for the distinctive voyage promo.

I just booked the Gem with take 5 offer and Distinctive Voyages offer. I only received 250 wifi minutes and $50 excursion. I thought I was going to receive the minutes and credits from both promotions. Anybody have any experience with combining wifi and excursion promotions?

On the cruisenext website, it says you can use 2 certificates on one room on Balcony or higher expiring 11/17. My travel agent says you have to book more than 6 months in advance. It no longer says that on the cruisenext site. Which is correct?

I am thankful for all the reply's. It doesn't look like there is agreement on this subject. There are 4 of us on the tours and I am going to tip 40 euro's total for each tour. Thanks again for all the input.

Hi Everyone. I have heard that tipping in Europe is much different than in the U.S. When we do Caribbean cruises we usually tip the tour operators. Is it the same in Europe. I am trying to figure out how many Euro's to have before the trip, we leave in October. Thanks for any help.

We are going on Epic in October and have an early private tour booked. Do you book the tenders on board just like the shows and dining? I am assuming you can't book in advance of sailing?

Hi everyone. I am looking at booking a flight after an Epic cruise in October. The ship says it gets in at 5:00am. Is this too early a flight to book? Has anyone booked this early a flight in Barcelona? Any help appreciated.

So my first NCL cruise is only 13 days away on the Escape. I heard that the New Years promotion is picking 2 perks if you book a Balcony. With Cruisenext Ultimate on board, if I book the actual cruise do I get both perks? Just checking whether I need to research a 2nd cruise before we go.

Try to book an Escape cruise right now and it still says Margaritaville is free. I read the cruise contract and it says ordinary food is included. How much more ordinary is a burger and fries? My first NCL cruise has me really questioning why I wanted to try NCL.

I am new to NCL and not used to booking shows and restaurants 90 days in advance of sailing. The 4 of us would like to purchase a 4 day SDP but I would like to use OBC for as much as possible. Can I buy 1 person's 4 day SDP in advance and book all 4 restaurants for the week for all 4 of us and then buy the other 3 onboard using OBC? Anybody ever done this?

I read that NCL was implementing new MDR menu's. Have they started yet and has anyone experienced them?

Just got home from work with a message from Carnival wanting to upsell us on our upcoming Liberty cruise. About 10 days ago I received an e-mail to move from a guarantee balcony to a junior suite for $800. Turned it down. A couple days ago we got our cabin assigned. Verandah deck balcony, works for us. Then today the offer was to move to Ocean Suite for $760. Would love the caabin but not for $760. If he had said $400 I would have probably done it. I guess I'll keep hoping for cal or e-mail 3. Would anyone have done this deal?

So we are booked on the Liberty for March with Guarantee Balcony cabin. We haven't been assigned yet, still too far out. We got an upgrade e-mail for a Junior Suite for $800 more total. No thanks. This ship has a ton of open cabins both in higher and lower categories than ours. Has anybody ever called Carnival and asked if there were any upgrades available and have it work? Wouldn't mind moving to a Suite for a couple hundred but not $800. Anybody with any experience doing this? Thanks for the help.
