  1. If I remember correctly, there are four heated tile beds/loungers. There have been recent posts that on some ships regarding the heat level of the beds was not very high. No pool but there are several steam rooms/saunas operated at different temperatures. You need to book for the whole cruise and spaces are limited.

Thanks, I'll have to go look it once we get on board, I was mostly interested in the sauna and thermal pool. The Loungers are nice but not my cup of tea.

  2. I been trying to gather all the info I can for Island Princess Thermal suite. On my previous NCL cruise there thermal suite was fantastic. Steam room, thermal pool, heated loungers was great after a day to relax.

Question is does the Island have something similar, all the info I can gather is they have a steam room, and loungers but that's about it.

Any extra info would be helpful thanks

  3. I think this will apply to any cruise line, not just one.

Do the window rooms/suites have the ability to open up to allow some fresh sea air in?

Our Pearl cruise we had a balcony (BX), and I did love going on the balcony but I also found myself opening up the slider in the morning and evening to get some good old sea air. So if the windows allowed some of the good old sea air in, I feel I would be a happy camper in a window room/suite also

  4. Here is the Turtle and Dolphin sheets as promised

We had only one laundry special, (they did a great job btw) as I had a stained dress shirt. I think it was about the 5th day in, gave them the bag on a Friday and got it back Sunday

edit: sorry for the bad pdf files not sure why they came out that way

  5. Just got off the Pearl 11day and the spa pass was 219$

We booked on ship, after a small tour of the spa facility. Would book it again, so nice to sweat and relax in a adult only area, never seemed to be packed for us.

  6. I was reading threw the threads and I may have missed it but I had a Few questions

Its our first cruise, so I know that I will not be a member tell after. But once we have finished how will the points be assigned.

I booked 18 months out so I should get the extra point in addition the point per night. So on a 11 day cruise I should get 22 points.

Since i booked two room, will I get the points for both rooms?

Or is each passenger going to get 11 while I get the 22 since I was the booking party.

Can i combine my wife and kids points to my Latitudes account?

Will my kids even count (10yo, 3yo)?

  7. When will i need to have my family's passports?

I assume when we get off the ship and back on at each port.

Or are the key cards all we need?

We are on a 11 Day Southern Caribbean (St Thomas, St Kitts, St. Lucia, Curacao, Aruba)

  8. Just sitting excited and trying to work out all the details for our 12-22-14 trip

I have been reading up on the iconcierge app and have not been able to find any info about the app on the pearl. Only that the newer ships have it, and it would cost to much to upgrade the older ships.

Will it be in the pearl at the time of my sailing?
