I have never cruised RCCL always cruised Carnival wondering if I will be printing luggage tags and cruise documents (not really understanding luggage stuff with RCCL). Basically wondering if it is similar to Carnival. Thank you in advance.

Ok not to be stupid but where would one get the premium coffees from? Starbucks or is there another coffee bar?

I will admit this is going to be my 1st rccl cruise we will be going on oasis and admit I have had bad customer service from a couple people and waited for over an hour for help one day but then had some amazing ones. I am very excited to go on this cruise and will not let a couple BAD employees ruin my well deserved vacation. How easy it is to forget everyone has to be trained and they are humans not robots with human problems such as they may not be able to afford a RCCL vaction.

I am looking at buying the beer and wine package and was wondering if it was similar to carnival where after 15 you get cut off. As well wondering if my wife buys the one for 19$ a day what does premium coffee tea mean (like starbucks). We are sailing for the 1st time RCCL and we will be sailing on Oasis. Note I have never been cut off. Just wondering? Thanks in advance.

I understand your frustration, however you do realize some of the crew does move to different ships? The same people you dealt with on the Conquest could be on your future cruise.

DW and myself keep every receipt. Yes it stinks but total it up everyday and usually charges are pretty quick to show up on the TV. We had one accidental charge we didn't catch on our 1st cruise so now she watches it like a hawk. And we have found stuff that didn't match in the past but got it fixed without any questions! But OP I admit I love cruising with carnival but dw and myself will never cruise on the conquest again (My son got not yelled at screamed at for a drunk guy knocking him down in customer service line)! I kept my calm and said never carnival again but cruised other ship's on carnival and never had a single problem like that again!

I know it is called formal night per say!! Just a let you know they do FREE photo sittings ow of course you have pay for the pictures but there is no sitting fee. But my opinion it is your vacation so I say wear what you want. I have dressed up jeans before and khakis with a button up shirt. I fill I paid to be here I can enjoy my vacation as I please I have to wear a uniform at work and I am not a big fan of playing dress up so NICE blue jeans and a Nice shirt If and when I go to the MDR for dinner. But to be honest my last couple cruises MDR service was slow and food quality was not that great so we have opted to just eat on the lido.

I searched carnival comedian's on a normal search engine and found a few names cross referenced them back to there web sites and found most of them have calendar of advents. A long process but if you have time it is a option!

You can take a 12 pack of soft drinks if I remember correct they cant exceed 20 ozs. per person and don't forget you can take 1 bottle of wine for 21 y/o and over guest! They have free lemonade, tea, milk and juices in the morning.

I have just a plain lanyard. Dw uses a Vera Bradley one (buy them on ebay) and some kind of wristlet and adds a vera Bradley lanyard to it.

I got a room for 119$ with free parking and drop off services in New Orleans. I Fill like I got a good deal trip advisor gave them a 4 out 5 star review. Ramada inn. I mentioned discount code CVB so maybe this will help some others out!!! And when I talked to the lady she was very nice even recommended a couple restaurant's the locals go too not touristy ones.

Thanks. So I guess then we will be on one of the last cruises before the renovations. That's fine with me. It's my first cruise anyway so I'm not comparing it to anything.

From what I seen online she is not going to get any of the 2.0 upgrades! I maybe wrong dw and myself was looking to go on her next spring but wondered the same thing and was hoping they would have put a guys on her but from what im reading she is getting nothing!!

Just a thought!!!! Carnival is buying another cruise line???? I doubt it but who knows!! I truly fill something more to do with them asking to build a mega ship sometime back they was denied maybe they was granted permission to build something as big as allure!! One could hope!!

Good ideal on the folder. My DW takes the stuff and cuts it up and makes scrap books out excursion paper work and luggage tags. Have fun!!!!

I read a post by John heald today about Carnival price matching shore excursions at 110%. And I always felt more secure on carnival excursions. so I am glad to see this!!! But wondering if anyone has more in-dept info on this yet!!! And you thought as well!!!!!
