I would be happy to but I think I would need your profile name for that group? I had something similar happen to me and after some up and back with her she approved me.
Thanks but I finally got a response and all is good now.

Hi all! DW and I just booked this cruise to celebrate out anniversary during the cruise. We normall sail on NCL (check out my cruise history) but have done several Carnival cruises. We were on the Venezia back on Aug 31 - Sept 7, also out of NYC. Since NYC scholls were still out at that time there were many families on the ship and there were complanints about the behavior of both kids and adults, but it did not bother me. The ship is beautiful and has many options. I spent much of my time at the Legends bar where I met a great group of people.
On another note, I checked out the other site that remain namless, for groups for this sailing. There were two. I asked to join both, the smaller one had no questions so I was in immediately. The larger one had three questions to join which I answered. The group admin gets back to me and says they cannot approve me because they need more pictures to prove I'm not a scammer. This threw me so I sent an message asking for an explanation but got no answer. If anyone here is a member of that group can you ask the admin to reply to me, TIA.

Crowne Plaza San Pedro is very good, and you will see your ship at the dock from your window!! Free shuttle down to the ship.

How far are from airports in the NYC area . Jetblue has a non stop to LGB from Newark.
The day I'd be leaving, from Newark, they only listed a stop over in Boston

Thanks, I usually use United but no flights to LGB, Jet Blue has flights but have to stop in Boston. We'll probably stay with a United and go to LAX. Thanks for the input.

I'll be doing my first NCL cruise out of LA in April. What is the best airport to fly into and any suggestions for hotels close to NCL terminal?
Thanks,
Charlie.

DW and I have taken many cruises together, but since I retired and she still works I've taken a number of solo bruises on NCL. I've made many new friends on these cruises, both staff and passengers. The coordinators I've sailed with did a great job getting the solo group involved with each other.

I'm using Nationwide for first time next year. When comparing policies on insuremytrip I felt they gave more coverage for similar priced plans

I am still in the planning stages of my cruise, so I dk when I will be going, but I am already thinking about the food issue since I just (re)started WW the day after Valentine's day. I am already down 5.5 lbs, which is huge for me. I am usually a very slow loser. I'm doing the online version, and so far, it is ok. I am loving the new plan. I use those little colored peppers and fruit as snacks. I find that if I make one meal a day a really low-point meal, the rest of the day is no problem. For me, that means either tuna with lemon, celery, and chopped pickles or my favorite breakfast, cut up apple, orange, and a serving of plain fat-free greek yogurt. It's like dessert to me.
I would love it if anyone has any other easy and low-point ideas.:)
Just back from 10 day eastern Caribbean cruise (5th cruise since Dec). I'm a lifetime member at goal for 3 years. You can cruise and enjoy yourself. I plan my meals, make my own grilled chicken salad in the buffet, exercise in the gym, use the stairs instead of elevator. In all my cruising my goal was to stay in my lifetime goal range (+/- 2 lbs) and have been able to do it. I did also have treats, both solid and liquid, in moderation.

I use a Fuji XP70, great for under or outside of water

Not in my room.
Unless I'm remembering incorrectly. I was in a studio. If it was there, no clue where.
I was just in a studio on the Breakaway, the life jacket was in a basket under the bed.

Hi all. Just came across this thread. I joined WW in 2012. In 2013 I lost 80 lbs and became lifetime. Since then I have not missed a weekly weigh in and have maintained the loss. I use the tracking method to stay on plan. When on a cruise I am careful eating, but I do like to have some drinks, which I normally do not do at home. I use the gym on the ships and use the stairs most of the time. If I gain a little weight on a cruise, I do not get upset because I know once back home, if you follow the program it works.

I did an excursion on the Gem in St. Thomas. Went to Turtle Cove and Shipwreck Cove. Plenty of turtles, fish and coral, enjoyed it very much.
