  1. We disembarked Serenade yesterday after a 16 day cruise from Copenhagen to Boston. The ship is in excellent condition and we had a wonderful time.

    Hello,

I’ll be on the cruise from Copenhagen to Boston next year. Any suggestions, recommendations, likes or dislikes. BTW, we’ve been on the Serenade before any really enjoyed the ship.

    Thank you,

    Cheryl

  2. I was on the 10/20 sailing on Anthem as well. Loved everything about it except the shows. I sailed the Allure on 10/9, thought the shows were spectacular [emoji93][emoji93][emoji93] Maybe my expectations were too high??? Getting back to he Anthem, my husband and I enjoyed spending time in the Music Hall, Vintages and dinner at Silk. As far as the chair hoggers, they are on every cruise ship. I did see pool monitors removing towels and personal belongings from chairs ️. I definitely would sail on the Anthem again!

  3. The bus terminal is easy to find. Walk straight off the dock, turn right. The bus terminal is across from a market. Once you leave the port area, just ask one of the local folks. There is an information booth to direct you to the correct bus. Have fun[emoji474]🏻[emoji950]

  4. Love!! Valley Church Beach, was there 3 days ago on Serenade of the Seas. The bus is $1.50 per person each way. But, there is some walking involved. From the cruise ship to the bus terminal about a 15 min walk. A 5 minute walk from where the bus drops and picks you up. It was my favorite beach on the cruise. Enjoy!!!!!

  5. First, you need to decide what you liked about the each of the rooms. My husband and I usually stay in the interior rooms. We like the interior for the cost and do not spend a lot of time in our rooms. We've had balcony rooms before and couldn't justify spending the extra. LOVED the virtual balcony room on the Quantum. The room was larger compared to other interior rooms we've had in the past and the virtual window was sort of fun. We have booked same room on Anthem, Fall 2016.

  6. Has anyone been denied entrance to the MDR during lunch due to their attire? My husband and I were stopped from entering the dining room because of his sleeveless shirt, not a tank top. He questioned their policy as there were many girls/women entering the dining room with bathing suit cover ups and tank tops. The sign before entering reads, No tank tops, No shorts, No flip flops with NO reference to gender. While we understand the difference between men and women's attire, my husband questions their sexually discriminating policy. Has anyone experienced the same?

  7. Just returned on FOTS, had a wonderful dinner at specialty restaurant, Portofino's. Ordered the filet, perfectly grilled with an added slice of Ahi tuna. I think on our next cruise will order the tuna and skip the filet. The veal and mushroom risotto with delicious !!!! Very flavorful . However, did not have the same experience at Chops Grill and is need of a makeover, IMO. RC portrays Chops as a high end steak restaurant, mid range at best! Steaks are not grilled on an open flame. The steaks were delivered to our table at room temperature as well as most of the other food. We were offered variety of sauces for the steak, the red wine reduction was fabulous Overall, the meal tasted good and the steak was the perfect done ness. OMG, how could I forget, the best dessert on the cruiseTiramasu from Portofino's.
