It's also on Onward and Quest. Haven't been on Pursuit lately.
Yes, it is on Pursuit as well.

My recommendation would be to sail the reverse course. That reason being that many countries have restriction on entering them if you’ve been in a designated YF zone in the last 14 days. I believe South Africa is one of those. By doing the Cape Town to Lisbon, or similar your shouldn’t have Cape Town keeping you out, but you may still have YF countries not letting you in with a waiver. Their order may be tricky too as they may have similar entry restrictions!
Hoping you find a way to succeed on this endeavor!
Clever idea.

Yes I’m talking to Azamara about this as I don’t want a transit to South Africa only
Just heard from friends on Journey. They were informed last night that yellow fever exemption letters won't cut it and they are now down to one port in Africa. They have been granted 50% FCC but are very disappointed.

We are on the Moon GV circumnavigating S. America in a veranda. "Laundry" is listed as an amenity. Gratis or pay as you go?

On Silver Moon is there a US outlet and 110 volt power available in Verandah staterooms? Or, failing that, a 220/110:converter available from ship?
Wife needs 110 for her Dyson hair dryer.

I just read on the Cunard boards that from 20 October crew are no longer required to wear masks. I for one think this is a good move. I feel terrible for the crew having to wear masks for such long hours, especially those crew who work outside. Just wondering if anyone on board any SS ships have heard anything similar. It seems that when one cruise line makes a Covid related policy change it has a domino effect and others soon follow suit.
Azamara crew have gone maskless since early this month.

NetJet? I think you mean MedJet. I recommend them as a supplement to any travel insurance plan. Very inexpensive— especially through AARP (the savings more than pays for the AARP membership).
Yes. Typo.

Right, I don’t thinkI can post which one. I’m looking at a few places.
We use Geo Blue annual family plan for medical. We also have a NetJet membership for medical evacuation/repatriation just in case we don't like what Geo Blue considers suitable evacuation.
Chase Sapphire coverage for trip cancellation/interruptions is $20K per trip if purchased on Chase. Pre-existing conditions exclusions apply. We usually, not always, self-insure for cancellation/interruption above that.
We always book cruises with Sapphire to get the double points.

Looking over details for our Cape Town cruise and this Pre-Cruise trip, I have some questions that some of you who have taken this may be able to help with.
We land in Johannesburg and spend the night there. It doesn't mention our large suitcases that they forward to the ship in Cape Town until the next day when we return to the airport to go to Victoria Falls. Does this mean we need to lug our large suitcases with us to the hotel and bring back to the airport to check them to go to Cape Town? It clearly says we are walking to the hotel.
We will require a Zimbabwe Visa that we can purchase at airport - is there a place to exchange USD for Zimbabwe currency? It states some other place that USD are not accepted in Zimbabwe.
Any other lessons learned for this would be most helpful.
Just did land tour, no cruise. You can buy Zambia visa on arrival at Livingstone airport. If you want to see Vic Falls from the Zimbabwe side (airport is in Zambia) you can buy a "Kaza" visa. Visas are priced in USD and I paid for ours at airport immigration via credit card.

Take your business elsewhere. Your agent is incompetent, or crooked.

Big step up for Heike on an exciting new luxury cruise line. Congratulations to her and to MSC for having the wisdom to hire her.

We booked a GV but came late to the party so we have to change suites mid-voyage on a turnaround day. The GV is sold out. Will we need to do anything other than alert our butler or room attendant and empty the safe? We are accustomed to moving assistance on other cruise lines.

Most of the time those really short ones are "booze cruises" for a weekend getaway. Not saying all folks are on for that reason but many are.....
Ah, yes. Nothing like a quick trip to Nassau and back. Other than booze, why bother?
Casinos gone?
