We're taking the 12 night Anthem on Feb. 25, 2018. It will be our first time out of NJ. Was worried a bit about the weather and did look at Celebrity 11 and 14 night cruises, but didn't care to take out a 2nd mortgage.

Upon arrival last Friday on The Equinox at Port Everglades, I was looking down at the action on the dock. One thing I noticed for over an hour was a steady flow of crew members getting off, going in an area on the south end of terminal 18 and returning to the ship within 10 to 15 minutes. This included cruise director, bar staff, waiters, chefs, pool butlers, maintenance, etc...... Just curious what they were doing ?

We went to the 7:00 show each night, followed by dinner at 8:00. After the first night we requested the same table because we instantly fell in love with the servers. They accommodated us each night.

Wife and I were on this cruise. I agree with your review. This was our first Celebrity cruise after being on six Royal cruises. We loved it so much that we booked the eleven night cruise on our last night. Can't wait !

First time on Celebrity. Our past cruises we purchased a 7 bottle wine package ( 7 night cruises). I guess I'm not seeing anything like that ?? Is there such ? Not quite understanding packages offered online.

We are Platinum with Royal with cruising all 5 times with them. Really like a Celebrity 11 nighter on the Equinox for next February. Does our Platinum have any status or perks with Celebrity ?

I rarely eat breakfast, so I love the buffet and for some strange reason I go crazy for those Royal Caribbean scrambled eggs !

We're sailing 9 days on Explorer in a few days. We don't care about email or wifi but we do want calls and texts. AT&T Passport or Cruise package worth it ? Help and direction please.

We stayed there in September 2012. If memory serves we were told to be in lobby by 11. The bus showed right on time and took about 30 minutes to load.The bus showed up empty and made no other stops. I do remember having loads of time to get onboard. We will be staying there again in February for a 9 nighter on Explorer.

In 2009 on Liberty we had an assistant waiter named Ransel. He was very good and we remembered him mainly because he knocked over our bottle of wine. In 2012 on Freedom while dining I recognized him from across the dining room. He remembered us because of the wine issue. Although he was not our waiter he came across the room to speak to us every night. And son of a gun there he was again this past January on Independece. My wife and I are booked on Explorer in February, what are the chances ???

In September 2012 we stayed at The Florida International Hotel one night before cruising Freedom. We booked through Royal and had transportation from the hotel to the port. I just spoke to a Royal rep and they told me we would have to make our way back to the airport to get transportation to Port Canaveral. Is this true ???

I for one am enjoying the comments so far. Wife and I planning on 9 night southern caribbean in Jan 2015. The four other cruises we have taken have all been on Freedom class. It looks like Explorer is very close in size.

We set sail on Jan 18 on IOS. This is out forth Royal cruise and love The Schooner Bar. Any report of who the piano player is and how enjoyable. Last cruise was Kory Simon in Sept. 2012. May be tough to top him.
