How many formal nights where there
-
Yeah they try to hide it since it's a loss to them. But I'm really into cruising and I really want to get my travel agent certification with the cruise line international association so I can be a travel agent part time

It's all good and thank him for his service! Enjoy your family time together. Get your dad to share his memories of his service while he can!
Safe travels :)
I actually got the chance to tour his ship(cvn-65)and attend the decommissioning ceremony. He showed me the medical room which he redesigned when it came out of an overhaul

"Your father served" is your Dad sailing in YOUR cabin with you? Did you serve? I'm confused as to how YOU would be eligible based on your father's military service?
He's sailing with us I'm sorry that I didn't include that in the original post

So my father served in the navy and was honorably discharged so we are getting a discount on our upcoming cruise. I have the paperwork in our safety deposit box at the bank and I know we have to bring it to port. I am wondering if I can make a copy of the form instead of bringing the original. Is this allowed?

Oh definitely yes especially voom

I have been with carnival for all of my cruises(2 so far) my family decided to get a taste of royal since we found a reasonably priced cruise on the grandeur of the seas. So I have two specific questions. One, is voom worth it our family owns a full time catering company and we have a new take out location that we opened last month and I would like to be able to have access to our system to check on our staff. Two, is the Royal replenish package worth it I am a huge time coffee drinker and non-alcoholic speciality beverage (one year away [emoji23][emoji23]).
Also if you have any advice for some transitioning from the carnival life to the Royal life I would be glad to receive.

We are having two rooms (we six people total going).

So I have a group of friends who want to go on a cruise. Our ages are 19 with one 21 years old (at this time). Is it possible to take a cruise with carnival cruise lines?

Is there a "French Quarter" in Savannah or Wilmington? Not quite sure just whose post you were replying to but it appeared to be to the question of moving cruise ships to Savannah or Wilmington. Wherever, are you an expert on the value of the real estate market in such French Quarter area/areas? Is there a correlation between the price of a home and one's opinion on cruise lines docking in a given city?
I'm not an expert on estate value per sé but I have looked up houses for sale located in the French quarter area and they are in the 1-3 million range and most of them are going after the terminal because the ship is apparently threaten preservation status that would have land value located within the area plummet. And the correlation is very rare in the cruise industry as most terminals are located in ports far away from places similar to this.
-
Because they have invested millions into there french quarter homes.

I know I'm current visiting the lovely city and I'm traveling over ravanal(excuse me if i butchered it) and its hard to see an access point with in the spider webs of bridges

If you go on the oasis, allure, or quantum then yes you will have the bandwidth needed but bring your own device for this as it can be used in your room.
-
How about moving it to the new site which would move the ship from view and create a dedicated road like they do at many ports and connect it to i-26 this would reduce traffic by providing a direct access. For shore power you can supply it in the new port but you can't force the cruise company to install it usually it's ships post 2000 that has shore power capability, which the current port can't support until a new port is built.
For the economy the new terminal by the images provided looks like it allows the passengers to leave the port walk down the sidewalk to the market and then they can go back and board the ship when they are done shipping.
-
Board get through SS card activation(the systems acts up all the time because of me and my dads first name) then cabin FTTF (two more before I don't have to do this anymore) then soda card, FOOD, virgin piña colada, then my traditional picture to post to the social networks, it used to be club 02 but the next one will be casino, then unpack, moment of I'm on a freaking boat, mustard, then sail-away then dinner.

Denied for what? I can walk off the ship with all my crap and fly home from any port. I am not bound to be on a ship.

Atlantis allows you to purchase day passed which are cheaper than carnival arm and a leg deal I think it's 70 but you can't pre-order you have to actually go to the main lobby.

Well are you a party hardy or a mellow Joe :)
Party hardy: carnival( it's in there name the funship which includes a active night life)
Mellow joe: Norwegian (the gem has larger rooms but you got to spend the dough but a question to ask yourself, are you going to be in your room a lot or just for sleep? Also they have a heaven which is restricted to heaven room holders)

How do you carry your sign and sail card?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Just came off the grandeur of the seas (first time RCI cruiser and loved it. It will be my treat yo self cruise since carnival fits my young adult budget). I used the free casino lanyard it worked for me (after I had to get my sea pass replaced SIX TIMES) and then once I was in Bermuda (all time favorite port) I placed it in my phone wallet along with my id & credit card that, was also placed into my fanny pack (yes Millennials wear fanny packs [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]) with a luggage lock (I always do this when I don't know an area very well but Bermuda actually feels safer than were I go to school).
