We paid just over 1,300.00 for 2 adults and our daughter who is 9 for a balcony room. We are going Jan 4th and booked it at the end of October.
Eastern Caribbean
Last year I paid around $ 380/person and we went 3rd week of January. Also a Balcony room and once again booked late October, possibly the first week of November.

It is true
It goes from El Moro and downtown, hop on and off. When you get through the terminal, cross the street and go a block or two to the left. There will be a trolly stop and you just wait till it comes around. There are 4 different lines so below is a link to the map. We enjoyed just hoping from one line to the next. it was a great way to see the city and didn't cost a thing.
If you go into El Moro there is a fee for that but it was really cool to see (even for my 7 year old)

We have booked both with carnival and on our own. My husband wants to "wing it" but with us being a group of 7 it is easier to plan ahead if possible.
Anyone know of any good companies for Ruins in Costa Maya?

We are looking at excursions on line but curious if they are the same price on the cruise? If they are the same price, do they offer any discounts for booking multiple excursions? Book 3 get 10% off???

Thanks for all the replies, just think it is a shame they are so specific. To me it would make more sense to say you are allowed 1L of alcohol per person rather then make it specific by saying only wine. We get migraines with wine and don't want one during our holiday. O well. Won't ruin my holiday to have no alcohol.
ONLY 15 MORE DAYS !!!

Thanks for the info but 65.00 for a 14.00 bottle of vodka is too much for the amount I will drink.

My Husband and I don't drink wine and were wondering if we are able to bring a small bottle of Vodka on board in lieu of wine?
Is there any accommodation for those who do not drink wine?
Anyone try the Flying Dutchman?
in St. Martin/St. Maarten

I've seen an excursion for the Flying Dutchman which is a ski chair lift to the top of a mountain and then a zip line back down. Leaving this Saturday on our cruise but was wondering if anyone has done this as I cannot find reviews on Carnivals website.
Note: this is a new place that opened up after the Hurricane so it is open.
