This review came at a great time. Just booked Epic for 7 Day Mediterranean from Rome. Never been on Epic and now considering upgrading to a Haven. I knew there bathrooms were setup differently and not sure if DH will like that? My DD will love the water slides. Thanks, it makes me feel a little better not booking with a Disney or RC which would've been my normal choice.

We signed up for this for our upcoming TP on Explorer in April. What is "so cheesy" about it. I thought it sounded like fun? Now second guessing. .........

It has a few chuckles but Go and enjoy. I don't regret it because it was part of the experience of the cruise.

I saw that thread but it's about Alaskan cruises. I'm waiting on the European 2017 cruises. Any thread about that?

I did the mystery dinner on the Explorer 14 day Med. yes it was cheesy but it was something to do on such a long cruise. The food was great so I was somewhat entertained with a nice meal.

I'll be taking a tour outside the cruise endorsed excursion in Lisbon Portugal port. Is the tipping in euros different? It's a costly tour but it's worth it since its a private tour and the guide is just for us only. Is the same 10-15% ok? First time in Europe so I don't want to insult anyone if I don't tip appropriately.

I've always wanted to go to Egypt but since all this stuff happening over and near there I have lost my desire.

Note that most "miles and money" programs are a lousy way to use your miles. You get far less "bang for the buck", which is why they are promoted so much. Unless you are trying to just burn off miles that would otherwise not be used, look at the actual return you would get with miles/money vs a straight mileage redemption.

Well, I don't have enough miles for two premium Econ but it'll make it $500 cheaper. If premium economy prices aren't ever on sale and it is was it is then I'll make the most of the miles I have to get some kind of discount.

I have the same predicament but my cruise is leaving Aug 30, 2015 in Southampton. I'm planning on booking through Virgin Atlantic. I've been looking at the airfare since it became available. The prices haven't changed much. Now I'm six months away. I'm thinking I should just bite the bullet and book or do you think if I wait another month I'll see a price difference? also I'm booking Premium economy.

I find that if I'm having trouble that day I'll continue to have trouble the rest of the day so I try again another day. I've been able to book things online but with difficulty. It's probably Celebrity's only downside. I like sailing them too much to abandon them for web issues.

We were in AQ on Eclipse Jan 4-18. Also experienced a terrific cruise, as is the OP. For future AQ guests, along with daily escargot in BLu you may also ask your steward for daily shrimp cocktail in your room rather than the canapes. The shrimp are well chilled and larger than you'd expect.

Thanks for the tip. Sailing late summer in Europe in AQ and my DH loves shrimp cocktail.

Your list is right on. I took a celebrity cruise for my honeymoon and it's an awesome experience if you are kid less and 35 and older.
