My wife and I currently have an annual multi trip insurance policy which covers our pre-existing medical conditions. We booked a cruise a few months ago, and when I was recently checking the policy wording in detail regarding another minor issue, I discovered to my horror that cruises were not covered (my current insurer is Insure and Away). I appreciate I should have picked this up, but unfortunately it was tucked away in a myriad of t's and c's.

Is this situation normal in multi trip policies, and can anyone recommend a UK based insurer who will provide cover for my cruise including the pre existing medical conditions.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you KeithM and Cruiseaddict for your reponses. This will be our first cruise and we weren't too sure what to expect. The stocking of the fridge in Queens Grill suite is an added bonus which we didn't expect. No doubt as it gets nearer the time (September) we will have more silly questions!!

What a useful forum Cruise Critic is as it has already answered many of our questions about cruising.

I have just booked a two week Mediterranean cruise in a Q5 Cabin on the Queen Elizabeth, and I noticed that the in room fridge is stocked for embarkation. Can anyone tell me if this is complimentary and is it re-stocked as required?
