  1. Hi everyone, I have booked balcony cabin 9093 on Sinfonia, this is in the new part of the ship that was added a couple of years ago. I have just read that the cabins are very small and don't have a sofa or chair. I haven't been able to find a layout of these cabins, only a picture which is always the same. If you have had a cabin in the new added on part can you let me know about it. Many thanks.

  2. Checked site and no allocation yet. Have not completed check in yet, would that make a difference?

No won't make any difference, I don't know why I got mine so early, but I also did on a previous Spirit cruise. It's quite exciting checking NCL site, one day there will be a cabin number there for you. Enjoy your cruise, love the Spirit, not glitzy but it has its own charm.

  3. On the subject of guaranteed cabins I have a BB balcony guarantee on a March sailing of the Spirit. According to NCL website all cabins apart from interior are sold out. Can someone explain how they will be able to fulfil the guarantee?

I booked a guaranteed balcony on the Spirit for March 2017 back in April and got our cabin allocation in a few days, we are on deck 9. Also got the drinks package thrown in.

Look on your booking on the Norwegian UK site, you may have a cabin already.

  4. The videos are great thanks for sending them. I was a bit concerned over the language thing. We were on the Preziosa in April, and I did know that MSC is predominately Italian speaking, however we met very few English speakers, so was concerned the YC might not have any. We do like to talk to others over dinner or drinks and on other cruise lines we've met some amazing people and had great laughs and fun.

We did enjoy our MSC cruise, but did found it a bit crowded and noisy for us, so hence booking the YC this time. We are so looking forward to the YC, my fear is that we will get used to it and will not want to go back to an inside cabin!

  5. Thank you so much for the video of the cabin, Norwegian Cruiser, it looks amazing and although we have two cruises with other lines before this one in October 2017, I think we are looking forward to this one most, it has a great itinerary, over to Greek Islands, and being in the YC is a bonus.

I noticed you have done quite a few cruises in the YC, so did you find many English speakers there?

I didn't think it was a connecting door Skier, but had to double check, thank you for sending the photograph.

  6. We are booked in YC Fantasia 16027, and looking on the deck plan drawing for the cabin have noticed that there is a double line between this and 16025, this line is replicated on the starboard side as well.

I wonder Skier if you might know what this line means, thanks for your help, you have amazing knowledge of MSC ships!

  7. Hi Carol,

I know you wanted a van tour, but have you thought of having a launch trip around the Marlborough sounds? a very unique area. I went on holiday there every Christmas when I was a little girl, 1950's! and there are no roads, so provisions have to be got by launch This website does a variety of tours, and there is one to Double Cove where you can feed the pet fish. Have a wonderful cruise!
