Will be on the last CR trip before SD 1 returns to the Caribbean.

Dupontcruiser, thanks for a great review. I appreciate the info and recommendations that you and JimAvery have shared. A couple of questions:

Would they have let you leave the group in Grenada to have lunch and explore on your own? How many hours of actual drive time on the excursion?

How were the bugs in Manuel Antonio? any biters?

Let me know if anybody has questions about the other Costa Rican ports from our voyage (e.g. Playa Flamingo, Playa el Coco, Quepos, or Tortuga Islands) or about the trip in general.

We are on the Dec 21 sailing and are wondering about the excursions. Are there any that stood out? Any sightseeing recommendations in the ports?

Also, were the water toys in the marina available at all of the stops?
