Azura/Ventura "awfull aft rooms "

Please advise as we have just booked Ventura Christmas 16

Hi,we have cruised with P&O on Oriana and Azura and had a great time,just found a deal on Carnival Breeze out of Miami for 8 nights including flights Nd Miami hotel stay in a balcony for £899

I am a great believer in "you get what you pay for " I have read all the reviews and know it will be a totaly different experience from P&O

Any thoughts please

Has any 1 any info on the road works we are on Azura Saturday 10 th May and are booked car parking with cps

Have looked at threads here saying how chaotic things are

Our boarding time is 3pm do we stick to this time or get there before then

( naughty I know )

We are on Azura this Saturday 10 May for the 2 day mini cruise we don't want to go on a P&O tour so any info on cost of taxi or train to Bruges would be great

You should be ashamed of your post I'm surprised you cruise with P&O , a little down market for some one of your standing I feel

Dear me "Riff Raff" cruise snobbery is alive and well

We are 1 st time cruisers and took advantage of a great last min deal leaving on the 17th January on Oriana

We are well travelled having been to the Med,USA,Caribbean etc

I do agree that it can be annoying to hear of fellow passengers grabbing bargains but that happens in all holiday situations not JUST cruising

We took advantage of this great deal as we have often talked about taking a cruise and thought this was a great way of experiencing it

We just hope we don't meet to many people who have such a stuck up and narrow minded view of other passengers who have taken advantage of these deals,cruising is NOT just for the chosen few

E Tickets and on speaking to P&O they informed us that iPads do not work so we had to fire up the old laptop

Just a quick update,downloaded tickets and see we have been allocated outside cabin on A deck,cabin A123 fwd

We were expecting LA obstructed view

Any info or comments on this grade of cabin please

We have been allocated cabin A123

We were told on booking we would have a LA restricted view midship

Any views regarding this cabin please

Seems to be a few 1st time cruisers on this cruise,us included we booked late I.e. this week and could only get an LA cabin ( obstructed view ) hope it will all be ok ?

Will certainly look out for mustard man !!

Maybe us cruise virgins should meet up for a him wag and a few G&T's

After much discussion we have booked our 1st cruise but after doing a lot of further investigation not sure if we have done the right thing!!!!!

We have booked Oriana leaving Southampton on the 17th Jan,to be honest we think we got a great deal,a little over £500 each so can't complain about the price,our concerns are

1. Noro seems to be a big problem !!!

2. Other than an inside the only other cabin available was an LA cabin,obstructed view,we went for the LA hope it's ok

3.As 1st time cruisers a little uncertain of dress code,we are a mid 40s couple and also concerns over the age of other passengers,seems we might be a little young for this cruise!!!!

We are hoping everything will be fine as we hope we like the experience as we would like to cruise the Caribbean later in the year

Any info,views etc would be very helpfully
