I know there is a wide variety of people, habits, indulgences, preferences, etc.
Buying excursions onboard or just taking a taxi and being on your own.
Buying a pair of sandals at Nassau or buying an expensive piece of art.
Eating at the buffet the whole time, or room service with tips.
As I get ready, I was just wondering a, as we say here, 'ballpark' figure.

I think it really depends on the traveler. Do you drink on board? Do you buy gifts and souvenirs on board? Do you take any of the on board tours? They are worth it! And it really depends on what kind of traveler you are. Are you frugal or do you like to make the most of your vacation? I think $500 - $1000 is a pretty good place to start. Yes, you pay for your tips when you book but you can always leave extra and we will do that. We already purchased our excursions - they can sell out and we've booked our spa appts and have paid for them. So, we budget for the trip that way as an option.
