Email calabaza as soon as you decide you want to do it. You can book it for just a few people. I tried to book with them and she was already full. She was great and sent me a list of a bunch of other people that also did these cruises. I ended up booking with elegance because it was second on trip advisor behind calabaza, we will be doing it in two weeks!

Has anyone ever done a snorkeling cruise with elegance?
-
We did the golden eagle catamaran last December and it was the worst experience. Snorkeling was terrible but it was windy day. But the beach part of it you had to swim more than a football fields length to get to the beach. This was irritating to me as I about had a panic attack snorkeling because you couldn't see a thing in the water and it was so rough. It was disappointing because every other cat cruise we have done and booked drives you up to the beach. It was a struggle for anyone to swim back to the boat with only the help of a noodle. We are going back to this island next month and I am torn as to what to do also.

Is it pretty easy to get a taxi to get there?

Does anybody have any suggestions of the best beach in St. Thomas. We are looking to taxi there and pretty much spend the day there. A place with good drinks is a must :)

With sea* turtles. Sorry!

Has anyone ever done a snorkel excursion with Calabaza or Calypso? We are trying to decide which one of these is better or if we should book something through carnival.

Most of the ones we have done/are doing might take a credit card number to hold it, but take cash or credit card that day. Some require you to pay in cash.
