What’s the earliest you can debark the ship in Rome.  When I called Princess air they told me noon, but most flights are 10 or 11 am. Don’t want to stay overnight.

If I choose to not purchase accessories ahead of time, can I buy it onboard?  I was thinking of getting a watch and for myself, but you pay shipping costs unless you kick up at the port.  Of course, now I can’t get back on that page, it just says “loading”!!!!  Taking the Regal Princess on November 24th for the 5 day Thanksgiving cruise.  Really looking forward to it. 

I was in a vista suite on the Statendam 7189 and was a very nice balcony.  No issues.

My husband and I were on the Zuiderdam for Christmas and spent every night after dinner in the casino.  We both play table games and the pit bosses were very generous buying drinks for our tables.  We received chocolate covered strawberries in our cabin and next to the last night received a COME BACK AND PLAY offer.  We both received $350 in Casino Free play.  Of course you have to book within 45 days and only good for cruises sailing through June, 2020. Unfortunately we won’t be able to take advantage of the offer.

No I didn’t.  They said you had to order 4 days before sailing.  I’m in a veranda stateroom and wasn’t sure if there would be room, but from the previous post looks like the small one would be fine.  I don’t sail till 12/20.  I’m still hoping for the upgrade/upswell fairy to come my way.  There are still quite a few Signature suites open and we’re only 10 days out!!!

I was on the Nieuw Amsterdam 2 years ago right before dry dock (December 2017) and  Initially I had the same concern, but there were no problems while we were onboard.  The night before arriving back in Ft. Lauderdale, they closed the casino early and started dismantling the whole casino for the upgrades.  Before we left the ship the next day, we looked in the casino and it was stripped.

You can also get money out if the slot machines, and it gets charged to your room account and there’s no 3% fee.  When you use the slot you enter a PIN number - very easy to do.

Does anyone know exactly when she’s being refurbished?? Someone mentioned later this year.

I saw mine on the check-in where you mentioned. Previously I checked the luggage tags and the check-in. It was 9 days before the cruise and it was between 7 and 8 pm EST.  The next day I received an email from HA. But I did book directly with my PCC.  Should be assigned soon, since you’re now 10 days out.  Good luck!!!🍀 

Mine came st 9 days - and not till early evening 

I didn’t get an email, but checked my account and cabin # was listed were it previously said BC Guarantee.

Vista suite - booked the guarantee because it was a casino deal.  

My cabin assignment came through tonight and I was excited to see we got an aft facing vista suite, AS 7189.  We booked the BC Vista.  No complaints here!!!

Sailing on the December 19th Nieuw Statendam and no room assignment yet.  Anyone on this sailing receive theirs???  I’m getting impatient!!!   I’ve been reading all the blogs from everyone on the ship now and I’m so looking forward to this trip.
