I downloaded it and I have difficulty using it. I can easily respond to subscribed threads, but have difficulty finding other threads to read.

Hi I have this same room for my cruise on March 6th, can anyone comment on the room? Did you like it? Was the noise from the Lido deck loud? How was the balcony? We have 3 people and we were told there was a possibility of a trundle bed instead of the couch bed. Any comments would be appreciated!

If you are going to do laundry, throw a few tide pods in a ziploc. Small and easy and way cheaper than buying detergent on the ship. Also, don't forget your camera and memory cards.

We went on a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Legend last March with a 5 year old. We had 3 people in a large balcony room and we had plenty of space. She absolutely loved Camp Carnival and the kids water zone. We took dress clothes but never dressed up for dinner and it was totally fine. There were lots of other places to eat besides the MDR.

When we were in Grand Cayman, we visited the Tortuga Rum factory. I bought some rum for $13/bottle. It was crazy when we were disembarking and the customs agent didn't charge me for the taxes :)

Hello! We just registered for an 8 day Eastern Caribbean cruise from Ft. Lauderdale through Carnival. Our cruise is in March though.... We have cruised on Carnival before. The prices are reasonable and we had a blast!

We are going on a cruise to the Western Caribbean the first week of March and I must admit I was a little alarmed by the comments I read here. Then I looked out the window and remembered that no matter how poor the country is, how muddy the water is, it is going to be warm and there will be no snow in sight!:D

Keep in mind that there's another problem with having no credit card - if some problem comes up in a foreign port (such as an accident/major illness or getting left behind in a port!), you have to get yourself home. That could be very difficult in a foreign country with no credit card. Make sure you have a backup plan, such as a prepaid card that you keep for emergencies or someone to call should you need help.
We purchased insurance through travel guard for our cruise. It was reasonably price ($113 for 3 people). It covers us in the case of medical emergency, etc. A friend highly recommended it. Her father had a medical issue while cruising out of the country, and travel guard flew him and his wife home with no out of pocket expenses on their part. I don't think it covers you if you miss the boat though....
