We are currently touring the Caribbean on the Navigator of which I'll give a full report in due course. This is our first regent cruise and I would just like to express how absolutely amazing it is in every aspect and I really can't understand the unfair people that have wrote to the contrary on here.

What's the deal on Internet for new Regent passengers? Is it 60 min free time per day for concierge passengers upwards?how is that measured? And can it be used anywhere on the ship? Only 1 device? 60 min per person or per suite?
Also heard that there's free wifi 24/7 from Nov onwards...

Jongbj is correct the website is not working and hasn't been for some time.
I have completed my guest reservation forms online on more than one occasion and the system is not updating and saving it so it's still showing as not complete.
Excursions have been updated/changed but again the system online is not reflecting the changes.
Has anybody spoken to Regent about this? Are they aware/working on a resolution?

Ok, thanks so much for your info.

Thanks again rallydave. -Seems strange that they cater for both US & European type plugs in the cabins, however it is all good.
Regarding using a UK plug with an adaptor, is that safe as the voltage is much lower on US plugs than the UK ones. I've heard that using a UK electrical appliance in the States by means of an adaptor can blow the fuse, is this true?
-
Sorry, just to confirm, do they take the US type plugs only as opposed to European/UK?
-
Thanks rallydave -Does the Navigator take the US 3 pin plugs only?
-
Are they the US style 2 pin plugs that are required?

Thanks so much for all your comments.
I'm glad that there are positive ones too!
As you say you'd expect the staff to rotate the ships so there's no reason why service on one ship would be better than another.
It also sounds like the rough sea can impact all of the fleet and not just the navigator.
As I'm sure is evident on this site it's all about a matter of opinion however considering the level and price of a Regent cruise I'm surprised to hear of any negativity. I am however really looking forward to what will be a great trip.

I've been to phi phi island and it's absolutely beautiful! Although I've not been to phang nga bay I'm guessing it's much the same.
If I was you I'd keep phang nga bay on wait and also book phi phi as a back up and then if phang bay trip becomes available nearer the time (which is likely) you can cancel the phi phi excursion.
Another alternative if the phi phi trip costs is to look at alternative similar trips over the net that are based from Thailand agents as they will be much more cheaper and don't be afraid to negotiate prices with them.
Hope this helps.
Have a great trip to magical Thailand!

Really looking forward to our first Navigator cruise, was just looking at the layout of the ship on-line to familiarise myself and have a couple of questions I hope someone maybe able to help with:
1) I notice that there are 2 seven seas lounges, are there therefore 2 different shows per night in each of the theatre halls?
2) What is the difference between the Stars Lounge, the Navigator Lounge & Galileos? Are they all used per and post dinner? Are they similar in size and/or solely used as bar lounges?
3) It doesn't look as if there is an open outdoor bar on the pool deck as per the Mariner/Voyager?
On a previous cruise I found it relaxing sat out having a drink upon departing a destination before getting changed for dinner. Is this possible on the Navigator?

I've just been reading about the dress code on the RSSC website and I'm a little confused about how many (if any) formal nights there will be on our 10 night cruise next month. Can anyone tell me how many there will be and if there's a captains dinner party and if I will need a tuxedo or if it's optional.....thanks in advance

That's great Swabs, thanks so much for the info :-)

Has anyone had experience with the spa on the Navigator?
I cannot seem to find prices, are the treatments part of the all inclusive package?
If not do you also need to pay a surcharge to use the sauna/steam room or is this located away from the spa area?

I've just noticed that our cruise disembarks in Miami on our final day at 7am and our flight does not depart to go home until 8:15pm. Has anyone else been faced with this issue and what have you done with your luggage?
I notice that Regent are not offering excursions in Miami even though the ship start and leaves from there....

@Zqueeze1 We docked into the heart of the old town at San Juan. There was a big festival taking place on this day which we were not aware of and there were so many people about and it was so hot. We wanted to visit Condado but unfortunately we could not get a taxi due to the town being so busy.
We were originally booked to do the Bacardi rum tour and tour of the old town and fort but when we looked at the itinerary we decided to give it a miss and do our own tour as much time was spent travelling and at the Bacardi distillery tour and none of us drink rum so we were only interested in the old town tour. I'm glad we decided on this after speaking to somebody that did the tour they said that the tour driver dropped them back to the port after the distillery tour as there were people that did not want to tour the fort and old town.
Please let me know if you have any other specific questions that I can help you out with, will only be too happy to help.
