Next time you cruise with GM Damien Lacroix just ask him for some of his emergency supply of Diet Coke.

He is French but his wife Jaqui is from NY and does not like Coca Cola Lite so he keeps a twelve pack of Diet Coke in his cabin refrigerator

He just boarded the ship on your cruise and had a fresh supply.

As far as the grits he can not help since he is partial to French ommelete.

On the 11th is the birthday of the General Manager of your cruise Damien Lacroix. We have cruised with him and found him to be not only a great professional but also a fantastic person.

Please give him a "happy birthday" on our behalf.

The production shows by the staff dancers have improved in the Marina compare to last year and the guest performers are overall very good.

The cruise director Ray Michaels is top quality and you can find him all around the ship assisting passengers. He also performs one show.

The reason there are no blue cheese olives is due to health reasons.

They were eliminated over a year ago.

But if you want them tell your butler to tell Damien your General Manager and I am sure he will have some made to order just for you.

The Marina left Wellington and is on the way to PIcton on the fiords and sounds located on the northernmost tip of the South island. This most be an alternate stop due to the storms.

I believe they have been in Wellington for the past three days.

I think that Jim & Stan suggestion to go have breakfast at the Intercontinental is perfect. You can leave your luggage with the bellman desk while you eat. Then a taxi ride from the hotel to the ship is no more than five minutes.

You may be 44 but your comments remind me of my 3 year old grand daughter when she sais "I don't like it, Abu" without trying the food.

Insults like calling a Maitre D' that you have never met "an old fart" show no class at all. By the way Remi, the main Symphony Maitre D is a gentleman and is in his late thirties.

I do know Michael and I know the Maitre D' that Danny refer to in the Quest and they have a long way to go to be able to run a dinning room for 400 persons the way Remi and his staff do it.On the two cruises that I did on Seabourn they were trying to figure out how many waiters to send every night to The Colonade, the Pool area or the MDR and took them a long time to get it right. On the present Quest cruise of the Panama Canal the first nights the line to go in the MDR was 15/30 minutes long.

My last point. I noticed no age difference in the passengers of both lines. They are mostly in the 60's. If the Crystal age group was older there would not be any problem getting late seating.
