  1. On board they have specialty dinning that cost extra then according to what ship you are selling on they have for example Johnny Rockets that is I think 4.95 per person if u choose to eat there. Then there is also shops on board if u like to shop. Then they have professional photographers on board and u can choose to purchase photos of u have them take. There are several packages u can choose from. I usually only get a few pics and they are about 20.00 each for a 8 by 10

There is also a Casino on board if u like to do that and also bingo.

Then of course in ports there is ships and excursions. So it really all depends on what u like to do and how much you like to shop. U can actually go and not spend any money. Just up to each person!

Hope u enjoy your first cruise. I love cruising!

  2. We always enjoyed the 6:00 time slot. It's a little early and were weren't there always right at 6. But we also enjoyed snacking on some food from windjammer, sorrentos, or room service later in the night! Earlier seating worked well for us cause we liked to do all the shows and most of ours were reserved at 8 or so. That's another thing u would need to look at when deciding on what time to dine!

  3. Thank you for your reply! I am intrigued by the Oasis class, just the sheer size alone would be something neat to see and experience.

The 4 year old is not 100% sure coming, but it is possible. She is one of those self-contained little girls. She is just happy to sit with a coloring book and dolls.

Do the RC ships have adult only sections? Maybe a pool area?

I would choose Oasis! We went to get a break from kids too and they said there was 600 kids on board but u hart ever saw any kids. It's a big boat with a lot of passengers but it never felt crowded at all! There are so many quiet places to choose from. Central Park is really nice to sit and relax and read. Very peaceful. Boardwalk has the carasoul and few restaurants and aqua theater but it's all thAt noisy. Then there is the adult only solarium area with their own place to eat. There are also hidden decks I know towards aft on deck 12 is a public area that no one goes too thAt has chairs and u can go there to get away and relax! Plus oasis has a great kid area. Take em and leave them there! You cN also lay out above the bride area for peace and quiet. No one goes there either! So many options on that boat it's almost impossible not to love it!!! Can't wait to go back!

  4. Thanks mander will have to look closer at RCCL especially Oasis! What did you like more about Oasis than the other 2 mentioned?

There were more things to do on Oasis. Better entertainment, more bar and lounge area. Lots of eating places!

  5. We were just there in Jan at blue lagoon and loved it. But the water was ice cold. That didn't stop ppl from getting in though! Waters is nice and blue and calm and so much to do for the kids. The water park they have there with the inflatables kids would love!

Also being able to see the dolphins and sea lions is a plus. There are hammocks in the shade and the free lunch is actually really good! Grab some and take back with ya.

  6. I would def do a taxi after u arrive in Fort Lauderdale.

From cruise port luggage guys will take ur luggage from there and will b at ur room later that day. I suggest to explore the ship during this time. I have been on 3 cruises and our luggage has always made it too our room.

If you enjoy snorkeling I would suggest if available try and do snuba! It's not scuba so u don't have to b certified. I love it so much better than snorkeling

Don't worry about anything just enjoy your cruise.
