  1. Well there are dirent type of atv tours.diferent types of kayak tours whale watching tours, museoms, ziplining, fishing, city tours

diferent types horse backriding tours, resorts, beaches (they are difernt types of them not all are equal.) etc etc i could go on and on .

I have seen so many of them not listed on the Cruise catalog

I could name you a list of atleast 50 great options I have done many of them.

what would you like to do ? they are some incredible ones that not apply to all people price or the type of activitie

  2. Well i have been with them , and they are usually at bars like papas and beer (BTW they closed the first place they had ) ..

or on a nother bar or at the beach or reting a atvs ..or a golf cart .. usually like 5-7 on it ! lol ...

Rosarito is a nice , ask any tourist that has taken that tour. I been there and the beaches are nice But yes but around 1 hour of driving and will be slower if you take the big busses. taxi will be quicker ,at this moment personally i would not do it if i were to take does big busses

    There is many many options.

  3. There is many diferent winneries,

The cost of the taxi will depend to how many people will go.

Diferent winneries have diferent times for their tours, so if you take a taxi and get there at 12 pm and the tour it's until 2:00 pm that will be a little extra time

It can be around 70 dollars, but depends on many factors

Yes i done them several times with diferent types of transports

Remember not only the winnerys are cool there are some incredible resturants

and good museoums , reservations etc etc etc on that area.

  4. It depends what winnery but like cetto will cost around 2.50 for a wine tour with your basic wine tasting you can buy the blottles there , but you can upgrado your tour for about (I forgot exacly) 5 dollar for a little "Better you might say " wine ( sorry i really hate wines but suuuuuuuuuuper Love the natural grape juice is just to die for ...)

Wel remember the bufadora and the wine country are far from each other ..

well around 120 dollars it depends on a lot of things

The time you get the taxi, the amount of people . what type of taxi,

    etc etc.

I suggest you have all of it ready for when you come and don't waste time looking for the tranports and etc ..

that will kill valuable fun time ... and you will probably want to eat at valle de Guadalupe and shop and shop at the blowhole

not all taxis have the same permmit ,( some can enter the cruise area) of if the taxi driver has good english or you can hire a guide to come with you ) of if the drivers knows really well the tourist areas ( not all of them know that and I really know that for a fact it can make it a better experience and more enriching)

  5. Update ... yesterday I went From Ensenada to Tijuana in the day ..

and some hours later around 7 pm i went back to Ensenada ..

The road is perfectly fine, actually they made some fixes to it becuase ..

this "la Libre" or the free road was going to be used more ...

and now actually is better .

We were actually not gong fast more on the slow side of things and from Ensenada to Tijuana it tooks us around 90 minutes

  6. It takes sbout 65 minutes to get there

No is no problem what so ever i have used and my family and friends

    And no problems.

Actually now is faster becuase they are sending the big cargo buses trhu the tecate highway..

Its faster to go on a private taxi. Thats what i got some friends of mine so they can have more time there.

But if you are comming to Ensenada i would use my time in Ensenada many great options

  7. Please be caerfull with the info you give please please please ....

""""There is other ways to get from Rosarito to Ensenada""""" .. i have done it recently.

there is no problem at all .""""".

Just take the freeroad " la libre"

The road that was damage was the scenic paid road ... there is other ways to get there .

    I

  8. the cruise makes some tours to Stero beach and rosarito.

I just order a taxi for some friends that askedme help with that, and they will charge them 130 dollars .. and will be with them all day.

you can go on a buss for cheaper but i would not recommend it for a tourist that comes on a cruise becuase you really need to know your way around becuase that way takes longer to get there ( have to go to the terminal etc etc ) unless you come with somebody that knows well the sistem

I have done it many many times

go stero beach i think they charge 20-25 dollars just to take you there

but the price depends how many people are comming

  9. Ensenada has diferent types of beach some of them have cold water and other very specific beaches and spots have warmer water ......

Stero beach is about 20 minutes from the Cruise .. Rosarito right now its about 65 minutes to get there becuase the main scenic road is closed .

Rosarito beach is great .. stero beach its a nice place . resturant hotel,a little shop and museom and the beach.....

  10. They usually charge "around" 15 dollars per-person for me i think it's better becuase you get ther quicker, and you can say how much time you want to spend there

I recommend using the taxi cabs that will get you inside the port of call, right next to the Cruise .. I know a company taxi company that you don't pay them until you are right next to the cruise (dont know if i can say the name becuase of forum rules)

It's also good to look for a taxi driver that speaks a ok English,

it's also a good deal becuase if you change your mind you can say to the taxi drivers

let's change plans. ( but you have to deal if thay can keep the same price or you pay a bit) I have done that many times ..when i bring friends a long ..

  11. Ensenada has a lot to offer ,I can name you atleast more than 50 great things to do.... it also depends on what you like to do...

From kayaks.atv tours, ziplines, lots and lots of great food options, indian reservations, cave paitings I can go on and on..

Ensenada is the biggest county in Mexico .. when you get off the cruise you only see very little most great things to do in Ensenada are a bit outside the donwtown area ..

it's very hard for tourist to get to know Ensenada . even long time visitors, and even locals dont know all that Ensenada offers becuase there is so many hidden great stuff..

    there ....

yes the blowhole is cool , but there is lots lots more great options .

i have found super great stuff that's not even on the local tourist info ..

  12. Hi all! I'm new here and am going on my first cruise (4 day Carnival to Catalina and Ensenada) in March. I have a couple of questions:

    1) Has anyone ever gone to the Estero Beach Resort? I was thinking it might be a fun excursion due to having heated pools (I understand that the pools on the ship will be cold) and a swim up bar and a restaurant. If you've been there, how was it?

    2) I have never been to Mexico, but have heard, of course, to not drink the water/eat anything made with water/etc. So will it be unsafe to have an icy margarita? The last thing I need is food poisoning.

    Thanks!

Stero Beach is great place but if you are comming on the Cruise better do a tour or something .....

The water is fine here . just DO NOT drink the water that you use to clean your hands on the batnroom

  13. On a Baja forum I read that there are some land protests going on at the entrance to La Bufadora. Has anyone gone there this last week?

    .

I live in Ensenada yes they are having some problems but it does not affect

    the tourists..

they had that problem for years ...... it was a small protest...

I take people recently and no problem at all ... there are having their usual problems with some stuff ..
