  1. I’m not sure what is going on.  I’m trying to make a spa appointment for my 1/6/24 cruise and they all say $0 and when I go in and pick date and time it kicks me out of the app.  I don’t need to update the app so I’m not sure what’s going on.  Anyone else having issues?  Can I call and book, I was going to give it for a Christmas gift!  Thanks!

  2. Hi all.  I have tried to call carnival but can’t get through.  We will be bringing a 1 year old with us.  Obviously, he is to young for the vaccine and is exempt from pre board testing.  Carnival says they only give so many exemptions for children, but would he need one since he doesn’t qualify for the vaccine yet?  Can children under 2 do excursions?  It’s pretty for clear for older kids but not under 2.  TIA

  3. Hello-I have a quick question.  We choose the dining package for our free thing.  How do we go about using that?  I can make reservations online right now, would that work with the dining package?  How do they know I have it?

Thanks, first time on NCL but frequent cruiser.

  4. Can anyone tell me what it might cost to take a Taxi to love beach in Nassau?  We are trying to decide if we should go there or Atlantis for the day.  This will be the first time we have cruises to the Bahamas.

  5. I have cruised quite a bit but never NCL. I was pricing a cruise yesterday and see that they offered a monthly payment option. I went home and talked with my husband and went to book it and the monthly payment plan option was gone. Does anyone know why or how o can get that option back? Thanks!

  6. I am not sure if anyone can answer this or not but when I look at the port of Miami website at the parking info, it states they take all the major credit cards and travelers checks and no debit cards. So, if my debit card has the Visa logo on it I will not be able to use it? That seems odd to me. I wasn't planning on brining a credit card other then my debit so I just want to make sure. Don't want to be stuck in the parking garage

  7. I am very surprised that you were able to book your three kids into a guarantee booking

They may be adults but by carnival standards you need to be over 21 to have your own cabin or someone in the cabin must be over 25

Unless its your own kids and they must be in the room either next door or across the hall

Are the rooms across from each other? Maybe no other inside slept 3 people

We started out with rooms that were two doors down from each other, carnival then took theirs away and just assigned them the OV same deck but different ends of ship. As long as they are my children I have never had trouble booking rooms although we have always been side by side.

  8. Well we gambled and loss (sort of). We booked very early and got a great deal but then we saw if we switched to a guarantee room (we had two rooms) we would save $800. That was a lot, so we decided to try it. My husband and I got an interior, which is fine we booked an interior but the three kids got an Ocean view...can't even switch because our room only accommodates two people and because they are 20, 18 and 16 they are old enough to have their own room with no adult...But dang, I want the ocean view....I had a balcony last cruise and I am so sad to go back to an interior. Oh well, I guess that is the price you pay! :p

  9. My teenage daughter had one of those heavy balcony doors slammed on her finger. I was scared to death to take her there thinking it would cost us a fortune. They X-ray'd, bruned a hole in the nail to drain the blood and relieve pressure, gave her an antibiotic and pain killers along with a morphoine injection to kill the pain and nerve blocks in her finger. She ended up breaking it but they didn't charge us a penny which I thought was awesome. They told us becuase she wasn't drinking that there wouldn't be a charge

  10. Oh I was so nervous about the coat she had X-rays. Morphine shots because they had to drill a hole in her nail to let the blood drain. But to answer your question. We paid nothing as did others If they weren't drinking there was no chArge but we saw people who had been drinking get charged.

  11. To those that asked if there was an AED on board, yes there is. We were on the magic and spent quite a bit of time in the infirmary with my daughter as she decided to break her finger by slamming it In those heavy balcony doors. They hAd one In there. There was ultra sound equipment and x ray machines. We were a little nervous as there is quite a language barrier with the dr but all went well.

  12. The spa pass would cost $150 per person or $250 per couple. You get that included with the spa cabin for the 1st and 2nd person in the cabin if they are 18 and above. The 12th floor spa balconies are not covered so you will not have any shade in those if it matters to you. Other than the spa access, upgraded towels/robes and some spa products in them the Spa Balconies are just like the other balconies. They are also non-smoking including the balconies.

Thanks for the info! I am excited to try a balcony for the first time. Either way I am going to love the cruise no matter where they stick me

  13. If you think it is worth it that is all that matters.

Personally would not pay that much for a balcony that we would not use all that much.

You may be right, but that being said, we have never done anything other than interior so I am excited to see if we might like a balcony..honestly I am sure we will love it!
