The theater was pretty full around us. Not really any distancing other than between the performers and passengers. Everyone around us respected the mask policy. The family in front of us were rude and filmed a lot towards the end of the show (4-5 of them at the same time), which blocked some of our view and the bright screens were obnoxious and distracting. I tried to politely tell them it was distracting and they just kept doing it. Don't be these a**holes.

We just booked the Embassy suites.  Don't want the February snow storm angst.

Their charge for parking is $18/night (open air). Less expensive than the port, but security and ease of access are determining factors. 

Our cc refund is on day 77 and counting.... Our FCC was applied to a previously scheduled cruise for February 2021.  In a way, I feel bad for RCI, being thrown this curve ball and NOT being allowed to restart....

Seems like the cruise planning has come to a screeching crawl.... We lost our bucket list trip to Bermuda for May, but still have an 8 day Bahamas trip planned for February 2021.  I half-hardheartedly planned a dolphin excursion for that (!! SHHHHH !!! don't tell hubby!!!)

Thankfully we are retired and can socially distance our walks on the beach every day. Even our neighborhood wine salute at sunset is socially distanced.  😉   

I manage to get in my 10,000 steps every day.  

I think we will be back to 'work' soon.

HaHaHa  I don't think there are many tropical cruises originating in Iowa!  I crack me up.

SAS apparently only goes to specific downtown Miami hotels....  

Has anyone had experience going from Miami port to FFL?  How early do they run? Is there much of a wait?

We typically have booked through the cruise line for excursions but this time booked one (out of four excursions) through shoreexcursioneers.com .   I think this is a COSTCO product.  It was about 20% less expensive; NO issues and got back to the ship on time.   All reviews were very positive. 

We will certainly be doing that again.

Went through FLL last Friday, easy peasy. we did have precheck and were through in no time, but friends that arrived at the airport after us without precheck had time to spare. We were all on the same flight home after a cruise. 

Don't worry, be happy.
