Hi we are sailing on indy on 15 may. The guest booklet says deck 6, check in 2pm. We are staying in Southampton the night before and hope to get to the terminal about 11am and board the ship. We did this last year on Eclipse and it was fine, apart from cabins being unavailable till 1pm. Will we still be OK to get on early like last year?

Hi everyone, this is a question for UK cruisers. We have a long journey from Liverpool to Southampton and return and also a relaxing cruise. I know we can download bbc iplayer stuff to our tablets and watch while we are away but what do others use to download programmes / films? I assume Netflix but I think you pay for that. Hi we are on the Canaries cruise in May 17 on independance. It's our first time. I'm confused about were you can eat for free and where you pay. Like do you pay for food in the English pub or the Italian? Any help would be great. Thanks

My husband and I have booked a trip to Rome and we will be dropped off around 9am in Rome by the Colosseum. We thought we might treat ourselves to a breakfast away from the ship when we get there. Does anyone have any recommendations where we can have a nice breakfast, coffee and pastry or something else light near the colosseum? Thanks

Hiya all. My husband has a beautiful light grey suit, as well as a dark suit, which would be ideal for formal night ware. However I remember on our first cruise all the men were in black or very dark suits or DJs. Do you think he should take his grey suit or would he look out of place? We are sailing on the Eclipse for 14 nights in May

Thanks everyone you have all been very helpful. I especially liked the thread showing the day to day activities, menus etc. We are sailing from Southampton on 10 May. We are stopping at Malaga, Cannes, Civitavechhia, Livorno, Genoa, Lisbon and Gib. We are really looking forward to the cruise especially now I have saw all of your mostly positive comments.
