We booked this directly through Aristocrat Daysails and they have excellent reviews. We just received an email from them telling us that they will need to taxi us from Road Town to the West End (about 30 min) and have us get on the boat there. They are paying for the taxi. I am wondering if anyone has had this happen before and if it took away from the tour/day? They are saying it will eliminate several hours of motoring between Road Town and West End and will allow more sail time. Thanks for any feedback on this!

cheeseclan... which Riu was this? Antillas (adult only) or Palace?

Ok, maybe I wasn't clear... yes, she's 24... but she's developmentally like a 5-6 year old and would require supervision... we just can't leave her alone.

I did contact them and they could not commit to anything, they said to speak to the program once on board.
She is 24 years old, can communicate fully using her iPad. I wouldn't leave her if I wasn't absolutely sure she would be fine... she would spend the day listening to music and people watching... she really is easy going.

Has anyone had any experience with having their special needs child participate in the children's program? Our daughter has autism and will be joining us on Jewel 3/12/17. She is not high needs, but is non-verbal and we were hoping to do an excursion in one port and have her stay onboard.

in Tortola

If snorkeling is NOT a priority, which tour would you recommend? The Jost Van Dyke or Norman Island? We are hoping for some nice sailing time and visiting beautiful beaches. Thank you!
