Just came off of Ruby Princess this am from 4 day cruise in St Kitts Suite, C750. Yes, we had cute personalized stationery in suite which I forgot about until I just read this post lol. Have fun!

We are sailing on the Ruby Princess on Feb 20 and had booked a mini-suite. After reading the posts we just decided to go for it and upgrade to a suite! (it cost over 2x as much for the 4 days so I am really hoping it is worth it!) I have never stayed in an aft-facing cabin before and am just a little bit nervous about this "vent" that some folks refer to. There also is a "beam" on our balcony (Caribe deck) that some found troublesome as well. Any thoughts?

In our case, yes there was a price difference in booking guarantee and we were hoping to score an upgrade from mini suite to suite.

Thank you! That's a bummer. I had heard that RCCL assigns guarantees a week in advance. If this just a Princess thing or typically how it is done? I might re-think a guarantee in the future. Just keeping fingers crossed that we get an upgrade!

I am looking at the availability and it looks like mini-suites are sold out for this cruise but there are about 8 suites unassigned. How far in advance are stateroom #'s typically assigned? We are about 9 days out now and getting excited to find out where our stateroom will be! My husband and I are both Ruby level with Princess, does this help potentially get us upgraded?
