Last year on the Harmony we got the email 5 days before sailing.
-
We were in a suite, so whatever was included with the suite. I believe VOOM was in the wi-fi package.
-
When we were on the Harmony last summer, we had wi-fi and used Facebook messenger to be able to message each other. I have an Android, but the others had other type phones - and it worked.
-
Yes they are. They were in our stateroom when they opened the hallway on boarding day. Same with the card. We had to have the Set Sail Pass in hand when boarding the first day.
-
We were on the Harmony in July and the bands worked on both the CK, Suite Lounge and Suite deck. Or you could just use your card. You will need your card to get off and on the ship with.

Thank you! I could not get into the Royal Caribbean website and knew someone would know.

My cousin and I are thinking of booking an Owners Suite on the Freedom of the Seas, and I thought I read somewhere on this forum that the Owners Suite only has a queen size bed, but I can't find that in any of my searches. We would like to have the bed apart but if it's only a queen size, we would book another category. I'm sure someone would know that answer for sure and we thank you in advance!

We were on the Harmony 3 weeks ago and got to the port around 11:00. Check in was available for all passengers and we walked right on board after checking in. They had beer, wine and pop available during the times you mentioned the whole week in the Suite Lounge.
I'm not sure what time the CK was open the day we arrived, but the Suite Lounge had a nice buffet lunch.

Just a sheer curtain.

We were on the Harmony last week and ate in the main dining room every night and enjoyed every meal! Our wait staff was one of the best we've ever had and the suggestions made were usually right on the spot for those that got their suggestion. No one came out of the dining room hungry or disappointed. We were a group of 12.

I made reservations for MTD on the Harmony for July and my cruise planner says "At your leisure". too.

Look in your cruise planner. I remember seeing 5:30 available for My Time Dining this past weekend (we are on this cruise). Nothing was available from 6:15 though 7:30 if I remember. Hope this helps.

We were on the Allure last month in a CL and the beds were very comfortable. Not too hard or too soft and definitely not lumpy :D

Ours was at the Aqua theater last year.

They did for us last month on the Allure.
-
We did the 3 night specialty dining package and did Chops, Giovanni's and went to the Izumi Hibachi one afternoon. We had to pay an extra $9 at Izumi.
-
If I remember right - they started boarding the ship around 11:30 on July 9. I didn't see a notice that the week prior there had been any issues with GI distress cases.
-
There were 10 of us on that cruise and no one got sick.

We were on the same cruise with you just down the hall a few rooms away (1752, 1750, 1748). I enjoyed reading your description of the Star class and am now seriously thinking of trying it next cruise! We loved the convenience of the Suite Lounge and the Coastal Kitchen also, especially for breakfast, lunch and a couple of dinners in Coastal Kitchen. Thank you for sharing your experience!

ljcofy: How did you find out that some of the cabanas were not available? We are on that sailing also.

Yes to everything you asked :). I forget if they offer wine at lunch but you can get a glass in the suite lounge and walk it over to your table if they don't.
-
Typically you don't hear from them until the week before. At least that's been our experience with suites.
-
We've had 2 Crown Lofts and will be in one in July again, and have had NO problem with that step. There is enough room for sure. It's a very nice room. They do have lights on the steps also.

If you're in a suite - Barefoot Beach (which is for Suite Guests).

I had my rapid antigen test done at a local CVS drive thru last month and it was quick and easy. Got the results in an hour or so.
