I am looking to book the Baltic cruise from Southampton on 29/07/15. The balcony cabins are a little expensive.Has anyone been on this ship and berthed in ocean-view cabins which only seem to be on G deck, and could you tell me what your opinion is.Are they big enough? Are there any critical points?

I am looking to book this cruise for departure 01/08/15 from Southampton.

The price looks good, though there is an offer for reduced prices for guests 3 &4? Anyone been on this cruise please? Does it mean the ship is over-run with children? Any experiences welcome. Is the Caribbean Princess as good as others in the Princess fleet.

Has anyone sailed the Panama Canal Partial transit cruise-Fort Lauderdale,Aruba,Cartegena, Panama canal, limon(costa rica), Jamaica,Fort Lauderdale?

Did you need to have a yellow fever vaccination or the associated certificate for the cruise, or any of the Excursions?

There seems to be a grey area where the vaccine is recommended in the province of Colon.

We are going on an excursion, where we transit the canal on a smaller boat, then transfer back to the ship by coach, where we rejoin the ship at Colon city.

That means we are in Colon for all of twenty minutes.Do we really need this vaccination?

Any advise or opinion would be welcomed:confused:.

Many thanks for replies. I thought that I might be asked to produce a yellow fever certificate on disembarking at some of the ports, having arrived from an area with the risk of yellow fever, such as Colombia to Panama Is that not the case?

I am shortly going on a partial transit of the Panama Canal, which calls at Cartagena. I have booked a "Highlights of Cartagena" excursion. Will I require yellow fever vaccination and certificate to enter the port?

This my second cruise with Princess cruises.

I am cruising from Fort Lauderdale shortly, stopping at Cartagena (taking a city tour),panama(for trip down panama canal terminating in Colon),Limon(Costa Rica),and Jamaica.This is a partial transit cruise, returning to fort Lauderdale.

Please help!! Do I really need to have a yellow fever vaccination to cover the short time in these ports,and taking excursion in the cities? Do I need a yellow fever certificate to travel to Panama from Cartagana, or anywhere else enroute?

Also, Malaria is a slight risk in colon. Do I really need 4 weeks of medication for a short transfer back to ship from a boat trip down the Panama canal?Will I really need malaria vaccines for any other destination?

Any advise would be gratefully received please.
