  1. Hi

Can anyone recommend a nice Cozumel beach - something with amenities, things for teens to do, commfy share in the shade for the wife - that would also have a boat to take me to a nice reef to snorkel at??

Also - likely we would last half a day at the beach - any ideas for something interesting to see for the rest of the day - walk through a nice market?, fun bar that lets teens in to have a drink? something like that.

    thanks for the time.

  2. Hi

I was looking at this on the Carnival site. Sounds like it might be fun. Has great reviews. We've been to Mexico a few times but never to Cozumel. If we did this would we be missing out on something on Cozumel? I hear Cozumel is great for snorkelling off shore - this would be my choice but the wife and teens don't care so much about snorkelling - anything else that makes Cozumel "special"? Any snorkelling on Isla Pasion that I could do while the family is lounging on the beach?

Would love to hear what you think.

    Thanks

  3. Hi

The Dunn Falls is something that my family would like to do. Has anyone done this through a private guide? I'm hoping a private tour would get us more than the falls and away from some of the tourist traps. But my wife is quite concerned to do this in Jamaica - brother was robbed when he did a private tour of some falls a long time ago. Private tours safe if you know who you are going with?

    Thanks for the time.

  4. Hi

I'm staying at Cooks in July. I plan in kayaking in Kealakekua Bay as much as possible. I know landing kayaks in the bay isn't allowed but I was looking at govt maps and see that the protected area ends at Cook point just past the monument. Is it legal / feasible to land a kayak outside of the protected area and swim back to snorkel?

Or could I anchor a kayak in zone B of the bay where I read you can as long as it's in sand and swim in?

As you can tell I really don't want to tow a kayak behind me when snorkelling.

Not a "cruise" question I know but I thought I'd give it a try - haven't had any luck finding out elsewhere.

    Thanks much.

  5. Hi

It's the Adventure. Glad to know that plain options can be had in the MDR! Now why couldn't the RC rep had told me this? Isn't it there job to be informed. Thanks god you all are around.

Hope my family's Cheese Pizza doesn't offend too many ;). We will make sure to save the hot dog on a stick for the Formal Night :D:D.

I've eaten in some very fine dining authentic Italian restraunts. Pizza Blanca isn't fround upon at all. Guess if you charge enough and give it a fancy name it becomes high class!

    Thanks again for the info.

  6. We are on the AofS soon. Someone kindly posted a probable menu. Looks great to me but not so much to the rest of my family. I called and RC rep told me only options at Main Dining are things like surf and turf for an up charge. He suggested going somewhere else if nothing looks good. Ya buffet!! Would it kill RC to offer some plain pasta or a cheese pizza as alacarte items?? Not a lot of dining options on A of S. Oh well. Guess my issue for a family of picky eaters. Just sort of makes me feel ripped off to not realy be able to enjoy the whole experience. I'm sure we will not loose too much weight though :D
