Katy - they let you bring a cooler on board??
-
thanks, Phlybice.
we have 2 options for our rooms....midship Main level and mid-front on Empress.
I've been told that midship or back is better than forward - more motion for us first timers.

I read that you're allowed to bring 12-pack of soda on ship, per person, from each port...so when we get on ship, a 12-pack and then port in Catalina, another 12-pack, etc....
is this for anything non-alcoholic? bottle water, sports drinks, juices, etc?

how is the 'main' deck on Imagination - location and sounds from anchor? It's only one level above the Riveria - the lowest level.

Are there different and discounted activities available on ship, during docked days, if you chose to stay on ship and not go ashore? I think that someone mentioned possibly discounts at spas?
(Carnival Imagination 4day to Mexico) -
what are some of the sporty activities/events on this ship?
basketball courts, mini golf - I believe that I've read are on this ship....what others for the active ones.
Also, what is available in the spa/fitness area that is included in our fare and what is available for extra costs (massages?).
-
thanks, awesome detailed info....although I still worry about getting back to the ship in time for departure, when out on a non-ship excursion
how long is the whole excursion - ziplining & blow hole - and what is the 'blow hole'?
what is the attire for ziplining? my hubby and young adult kids are interested, but I'll just be a spectator, so will I have to pay even if I'm not going on it. :)

a friend mentioned to me that she actually 'empties' out the minibar frig, puts everything on counter for housekeeping to count...and then puts her own items in the frig.....
has anyone else done this? I don't want to be charged for anything that I 'move' out of the minibar frig

Thanks for all of the great info. I spoke with a Carnival Rep last night, that actually told me ANYONE under 21yr old with us, will need such a document....that you are only an 'adult' by Carnival standards, if you are 21+....so even the 18yr old that my son is bringing, will need a document

Thanks for info....
SoCalKJ.....you're the 2nd person that has mentioned this ziplining place (and it is one of the activities that the family said they'd like to do). although I'm hesitent to 'book' anything outside of the ship sponsored activities/excursions - as I have read so many postings that stress NOT MISSING THE SHIP...and that there is no gurantee unless it's ship sponsored...
has ANYONE ever had a problem getting back to ship on a non-sponsored ship excursion?

Are there mini frigs in Carnival Imagination interior rooms (4nighter to Mexico out of Long Beach), that we can store our drinks (sodas and wine) in?
-
thanks, rpcv77

what are the 'regulations' for bringing on prescription meds....high blood pressure, etc.?
-
thank you. would this apply to any child under 18yr, that is not mine?
-
Is ziplining (either on your own, or on an excursion/tour), available on the 4night Imagination cruise to Ensenada? If so, what is the age requirement and approximate cost?
-
my 16yr old daughter would like to bring her 13yr old friend....I'm concerned about what my responsibilities would be for this friend. Would I need a power of attorney, just in case of anything happening - sickness, etc while onboard. and wandering where they could 'hang out' together with the age difference. the Club02 is only for 15-17yr. comments/thoughts?
-
thanks for the quick replies....so it basically gets you on quicker and smoother...any other benefits while you're on the ship?
-
that can be 'bought' for a cruise?
-
thanks....
I thought that I read the lower decks 'hear' the anchor being lowered early morning upon docking...how 'low' would that be?
and the lower decks either feel more or less 'motion'?
what accomodation level deck has other facilities (pool, clubs, dining, etc) on them other than cabins? or are all the accomodation decks just cabins?
-
What's your recommended/favorite Ship Level on Carnival Imagination's 4-night Mexico cruise?
Newbie deciding on ship level....already decided midship, but wandering about the various levels....main, upper, empress - what's differences?

Question.....
if I make my cruise reservation and book several rooms with 2 passengers in each, but in a month or so before the trip, have another passenger that I want to add to the room, can I do so? add them to the room that I have already reserved for 2 (of course, as long as it's a room that accomodates 3 people)
Ensenda Excursion options?

Thanks, that makes sense.:)
