Most probably do this. We've used Civitavecchia Shuttle Express for transfers.
Thank you! I will be sure to look them up.

I think you'll find all of the travel options in the Ports of Call forum. I would venture to say that the vast majority of pax stay in Rome before embarking in Civit. The train is certainly an option, but I wouldn't advise it if you have a lot of luggage. Have a plan for how you will get from the train station to the port entrance. Many prefer a pre booked car service. You might even find someone to share a car on your Roll Call.
Thank you for the info! I will check roll call 😃

We stayed in Rome for 5 nights before our cruise last October. We hired RomeCabs to pick us up at our hotel (next to the Pantheon) at 10 am on embarkation day to take of us and our luggage to the pier at Civitavecchia (32 Euros per person). We arrived at 11:16 am.
Oct 22 2022: getting picked up in front of our hotel (Albergo del Senato) to take us to Civitavecchia for our Constellation TA.
Thank you for this! I will look them up 😃 Was communication good and timely?

Good day all! Just wondering if anyone has embarked from Civitavecchia and travelled from Rome to embark at Civitavecchia the same day? The train ride seems to be about 1hr, so it seems to be ok if we were ti leave Rome at 9am?
Would love to hear your experience!
Thanks!

What MSC app? MSC for Me only allows you in the app if you have a booking on certain ships.
Can you post US requirements for Mediterranean cruises if they've updated for 10/1 changes?
Hi, I went to "Mediterranean" section of the App, it basically states as of Oct 1st 2022, pre embarkation covid testing is "recommended" and not "required, if you are fully vaccinated, EXCEPT for Greece embarkation ports. Greece embarkation ports still require a negative PCR/Antigen test no more than 2 days prior to embarkation. Hope this helps!

Where are the requirements for Mediterranean cruises (US citizens). I see no test required if I look on the UK site (as of October 1). I'm guessing this only applies to UK citizens??
Travel Requirements Mediterranean | MSC Cruises
As of right now, I haven't been able to log onto the US site at all.
If you go on the MSC app, you can click into theregion based on the instructions outlined. Hope it works for you!

Just want to post an update today from MSC for non-US residence pre-boarding testing and vaccination requirements!
I was checking the MSC app and it looks like pre embarkation PCR/Antigen test for vaccinated guests are now "reccomended" and not "required"!
Also, vaccination is "reccomended" and not required" (if not vaccinated, i would assume a pre-embarkation PCR/Antigen test is still required) .
I was only able to find this new info through the app (updated september 22nd 2022) :
> "Useful info"
> "embarkation procedures"
> "Getting Onboard"
> press "website" under bullet-1
> scroll to "Caribbean from US" and click "Read More"
> scroll down and you will see "Travel Requirements for cruises from 1st October 2022")
> "Measures to embark"I cant seem to find this info on the Canadian website, can anyone else confirm?

My guess is that it will depend on current rules and regulations regarding toddlers and car seats in the state of Florida. In my state car seats are required to age 4 and recommend to age 7.
Here you go:Thank you for this! Ive read from the Disney website that in FL, car share services are exempt from the car seat rule. I assume this will apply to Miami also since Miami is part ofFL?

Hello! Wondering if taxis or ubers in Port of Miami will take toddlers without a car seat? This would be to FLL airport from port of Miami. TIA

Does this help?
Thanks Chris! This was helpful. Unfortunately we will need additional visas for the passengers holding a Chiense passport. So we had to cancel the cruise.
Thank you for the link though!

Hi all! Just received an email from Celebrity regarding a port change from St Croix to Martinique (Celebrity Reflection sailing Nov 17th, 2017).
Was wondering if anyone would have an idea about the entry requirements for passengers with a US Tourist Visa holding a Chinese passport? I've tried to contact the consulates but the wait is long, and I've been reading different website responses (Visa is not required if its through a cruise, and some say Visa is required etc). Any insight would be helpful!
Since its less than a month till the sale date, we may need to cancel the cruise if a Visa is required.
Thanks!
