I am a big tea drinker and also we are travelling with an infant. Having hot/boiling water for me is pretty much a must. Are electric kettles allowed on Anthem? We have a tiny portable one but I am worried that it might get confiscated if we brought it with us.

Once the doors open the host will seat you. You can tell her where you want to sit, and if those seats are available she will take you to that table. I told her that we want to be as close to the stage as possible, and she sat us at the front row.

It is for you to decide if you want to pay extra for the premium seats. To us it was worth it. Your 7 year old will love the show regardless :)

The show is absolutely worth it of you are into magic shows or have kids. Sitting close to the stage makes the whole experience much better and magic more " believable". From what I remember the difference between premium seats and regular seats is not that significant. We got there half hour before the were opening doors and the line has already started forming. If you want to get good seats go there at least 15 min before they start letting everyone in. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the response. After reading this I am glad that the only thing that i brought back from the auction was a free print given out for attendance at the end of the auction. Hopefully one day I will find a perfect balance between the price of a painting and my desire to own it. Until then I will be attending the actions for free champagne or a free print or what ever else they decide to give away.

During our last cruise we went to an art auction and were considering buying a piece of art. Has anyone ever bought art on the ship before? Are the deals as good as they make it sound or is the price pretty much off base ?

We had an aft balcony on Getaway on deck 12. The balcony was huge, it fit 2 lounge chairs, side table, 2 regular chairs, and still had plenty of space. Besides, it was partially shaded which made it really comfortable on the hot days. And the view from the balcony was amazing :)

You may want to do a search and check out photos of a specific room # to see what the balcony looks like, and if it's worth it for you.

Is it possible to leave the balcony door open ? It would be great to enjoy the sounds of the waives but I head that newer ships are equipped with an alarm that sounds if the door is left open for too long.
