Sent request last night for our upcoming cruise on the Magic. Using the make a reservation link on manage your cruises page. How long should it take to get confirmation back for requested time slot?

Sent a request last night for our upcoming Magic cruise. How long does it normally take for a confirmation?

On the Freedom last week. Pre-ordered 2 12 packs and received only 1. Went to guest services several times and never received it. Was told I could order thru room service. When I called them they said I could only order individual bottles. Was hoping to just order it for the 4.99.

Thanks for responding.. We didn't get to start boarding until 130. We have FTTF again and just wanted to see others experiences. We may hang out a little longer at the hotel.

Is this still an issue when a cruise returns from Belize? Experienced on our cruise last summer. We leave out of Galveston in 11 days... And the previous ship will be clearing customs after Belize trip.

Hoping for some chairs above lido or on lido with shade. Not seeing any.. I can't be in the sun for extended times.

Nice to see some positive on the Freedom. I am looking forward to our time on her in June. I haven't been on the conquest class but have heard lots of good about that class.

Were also trying the Freedom after three trips on the Magic... Concerned it want measure up to the Magic either... But I'm sure will still have a great trip. We were ready for a change...

My dearest and I will be cruisin' on the Magic Feb 8th - 14th. I am a first time cruiser. I will share my experience upon return. I appreciate all the people that contribute to these forums. AS I see the glass as always half full you will expect to see more of the good and very little if any of the bad. It's like going to Disney World and only experiencing the que wait. That's not how we roll. I'm of the opinion that the grass is greenest underfoot.

Greetings! We are also on this sailing. It's a great ship. This will be our 3rd trip in the Magic. My first cruise was on a much smaller ship... Wasn't that impressed with that cruise... Don't get me wrong it was still fun. Was just a better experience on the larger ship. I'm sure you will have a great trip. Enjoy your first trip. On sea days there is a seaside grill set up outside 5th deck... It's a nice change from the dining room and lido. Enjoy your cruise!

Just a few weeks ago on the Magic our cash account cut us off when we went over by $10. Ran down to guest services added more and we were good to go. Maybe it depends on the ship.

Black Hat was great! He was right where we agreed on and took us exactly where we asked. Would recommended him without hesitation! We wanted to get wifi before leaving the island and he dropped us at a shopping area across from the pier and we just walked back. He is on fb and that's how we communicated prior to arriving.

IMPORTANT TIME INFORMATION:

 

All tour times are stated in LOCAL TIME, NOT SHIP TIME. Tours are specifically scheduled to fit with your Cruise Ships arrival time in Belize. Please note that Belize LOCAL TIME is usually 1-2 hrs earlier then ship time. So if your ship is scheduled to arrive at 8am for example, it will be arriving at 6am or 7am Belize LOCAL TIME. Your guides will be awaiting your arrival regardless of time differences

Thanks for the review! He mentioned the tequila tour... Not sure will do that... Mainly interested in a little shopping and the east side. We've done the east side but not at our leisure! Which bars did y'all visit?

We are using him basically as a designated driver for the East side.

Looking for your tips or experience using the the new internet packages? Will be cruising to Belize, Roatan, and Coz on the Magic. The last time we cruised on the Magic we had unlimited for the Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Coz trip.

It was just a jerk factory... Where they made ketchup, sauces, jellies, etc...

You got to see the conditions people on Jamaica work in... No air conditioning.. But you could buy the products for next to nothing. It was in Falmouth I believe. Thinking the name of the beach was 7 mile... Nice spot not tons of people. Sorry didn't take any pictures there.

All of the above are favorites. We also like the BBQ quesadillas and sliders on Deck 5 at Ocean Plaza on sea days. Yum Yum...

Yes, this is wonderful! I tried a little of it all and went back for seconds! We board in August! The Red Frog pub was also a favorite of ours! Did both the Italian restaurant and steak house. Yummy!!! You will love the ship... She is soooo nice!

I bring my own insulated drink cup. Try and use the same bar areas for fill ups and within a few days of...Asking for light Ice they remember...
