I tried to pay a portion of my gratuities with my gift card over the weekend and was told that it's not allowed.

Thanks Keith. The bulk of the OBC was given to us through "Vacations to Go",and is placed into our account on the 2 cruise day. Does that make any difference?

let me be clear. I want to use OBC to pay for the $12.95/day we are charged. IS this no longer allowed?

I just read in a post that someone mentioned you can't use OBC to pay gratuities. I was just told this weekend that my NCL gift card can't be used to pay gratuities, but now I cant use my OBC??? We have a lot of OBC and planned to use it to pay for gratuities. Does anyone have proof that we can't pay gratuities with the OBC?

Hey all. Interested in the cruise to nowhere this coming feb. It will be four of us total in oceanview for $1,700! Would that be a smart move and worth it? Please tell me about your experiences(with pics if any)on the 2 day breakaway cruise!!! Only have 2 cruises under my belt, both 7 days in the summer! How different will it be other than the short days and with it being winter in all? Im sure no outside entertainment and use of pool! Im addicted to cruising and cannot wait til my 8 day in june, so need this to hold me over lol!!!

Wow, I find that expensive. We are paying that for a 7 night over spring break for a family of 4. That's a lot for a weekend. Just my opinion.

I am enjoying your review. We are on the Freedom on June 29th, our 1st Royal cruise (we are Carnival people). I LOVE to plan everything out, so please keep posting the compass and menus. It will be my 1st time cruising since needing to eat gluten free, so studying up on the menus is important to me.

You are awesome at writing reviews. We are sailing on the Freedom in June. Can you tell me about the Soda machine? Is it only soda? What about lemonade or fruit punch? Is it true that you must scan a micro chip in your mug and fill up? Also, how much are the cupcakes at the cupcake place?
