I am doing the same thing in a way. I love in Tampa and sailing out of Port Canaveral. If people are choosing not to sail, and they are within driving distance, I am saying to allow for as many family members as possible, we are not allowing kids. If they are coming from out of state, then obviously they can bring the kids.
Then, I have 2 sets of invitations. One set gives the options of sailing or not sailing. The other only gives the option of sailing.

Ordering a custom cake topper online and trying to figure out what size to get. Ill probably end up with a 3 or 4 tier cake by the size of my current guest list. Any help from you carnival brides would be very much appreciated...
What size cake topper did you go with or what was the size of your top tier of cake?
As a cake decorator, I would suggest going with a 6 inch topper just in case because that is the most common. Even if it ends being an 8 inch, it will still look good.

You can put in a request, but you don't know for sure until about a month before. But we paid for the DJ so we can have it in the night club.

I have not done a ship visit. I live about 8 hours away from the port, so it's not really feasible for me to do one. My future MIL has been on it and loves it, I trust her! It's a second marriage for me and my fiancé, so we are trying to do low key and fun. I'm SO excited!
As for colors, we have not really set that in stone, but I do know that I am making my own silk tropical floral arrangement, because I'm not really impressed with the white rose bouquet that Carnival provides. What about you?

I am doing plum and teal! If you book the night club, the colors in there are purple and silver. Then we requested the comedy club for the ceremony.

I am getting married on the Magic 2 months from tomorrow. The tour will only last about an hour and then they let you walk around and do whatever. We went and found our room to make sure we liked it. We asked about possible ceremony locations, drink packages etc. take lots of pictures and I recommend the night club for the reception.
