Spent $2000 on gift cards with my Carnival master card and getting $200 free. Today I get an email from Carnival Mastercard saying I will get 10% points back if I use points as a statement credit after June 30 and before Dec 31.
So, now I get that bonus on top of the free $$ from Carnival. Nice! Time to cash in those points I've been building for a nice statement credit. Anyone else get this?

We went and found the Suites on the ship during the hour or so we had on our one and only (so far) B2B. Gave us a chance to see them first hand. We decided, they are nice, but not worth the extra money compared to the balcony on Lido deck.
We were very careful to stay out of the way of the very busy Stewards cleaning for the on coming guests.

Recently saw Freddie on Elm Street, it was a nightmare!

Love M*A*S*H; but one of the reason I liked crusing when I started in 1996, was the only TV I had to endure was the one in my cabin the wife had on.
TV is one of the things I like to get away from on vacation...and now....it's become a big azz monster on Lido :(
Note to self: Don't forget Ipod and noise cancelling headphones :D

Depends on the rate you booked, if it is Early Saver, you are due an OBC. Try calling your OTA, and asking them to three way (conference) call you with Carnival cruise lines, then you can speak to Carnival directly.
Other booking rates may not allow for OBC.
Good luck

One time I used a TA and ended up with some issue that needed to be fixed, called the TA, could not get it fixed. So I said "Dear TA, you have conference calling?" "Yes" she said; "Good I said, I'll hold while you call Carnival and we can all talk together".
Less than a minute later, I'm getting to talk to Carnival directly and problem solved in under 3 minutes.
That was the last time I used a TA, now I have a PVP.
OP, try that and see if it gets you anywhere.

Can anyone tell me if there are self-laundry facilities on the Freedom?
Thanks!
Yes. Lido, Port side forward. Others I'm sure, but don't know what decks

Cost more then a balcony. Or inbetween an ocean and a balcony?

On Valor, 9200 indicates 4 people, while 9201 indicates 2 people. Would imagine Freedom would be the same, but I'm not the one building it ;)

What does it mean. I havr a ocean view room mid ship. So will that change???

Scenic ocean view, new cabins in the front of the ship, see this thread for great pictures of the cabin on Valor. Freedom will be getting these. Cabin Category is 6K, on Valor they are 9201 and 9200 on Lido deck.

No waterworks and towards the end of April John heald said you will be able to book the above the bridge cabins, which I believe are those huge ocean view window ones, sorry not sure what they called.

We love the way it says "Panorama"--sounds like Thurston Howell, III.
Why thank you!
Lovey seems to enjoy it too !

Every sailing for me is a self prescribed "electronics free" zone. I get enough "constant connection" all year long in my regular life and want absolutely nothing to do with it while I'm on vacation. They could even get rid of the TV's on board, especially the big screen on Lido and I'd be happy. :)
