I have the same feeling. The cruise prior to ours is very active and the one after us is also active. For a while, I was real concern that it might be an empty ship. But cabin categories with the exception of suites are ALL SOLD OUT!
-
May I inquire whether I should purchase the ticket in advance? If not, would exact change be requited in euro to purchase the train tickets, or the ticket agent would accept credit card for payment? Thank you.

The only days that really matter would probably be the first day leaving Barcelona and on the second day, which is the sea day, other than that, we will off the ship sightseeing during the major part of the day at each port, and by the time we return to Epic, it will be evening already.
Your guidance is much appreciated!:)

We will be looking to book Norwegian Epic sailing out of Barcelona round-trip on September 11, 2016, and would like to know whether a port or starboard side cabin is better for the itinerary to Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Cannes, Provence and back to Barcelona.
Thank you.

Normally there is a group playing in the Wheelhouse until around midnight. The Wheelhouse normally has easy listening dance music.
Midnight will be NO Problem for us, in particular if thet have the easy listening type of dance music.

Do you know what time will the bar be opening till? (Closing hours). I am interested in particular, what time will the band that plays music/dancing ends at night? The reason being that my cabin is right on top of the Wheelhouse Lounge, and wondering how noisy it will be if we call it a night somewhere between 10 to 11 PM.
Thank you.

It is bigger than those on Allure and Oasis. On that Class, the safe is not big enough to even try to fit an ipad.
The safe is fine. Indy is a Great ship too!!! We are on her for a some B2Bs in Jan! Escaping winter:D
Have a great B2B on IOS in January.

Great. I like the 4 digit push button combination far better! If it can fit an I-pad diagonally, it is not bad of a size!
-
If yes, may I ask how large (small) is it? Is it the type that you open by using a card with magnetic strip and swipe, then when you need to lock it, you use the same card and swipe it again?
Thank you.

I would try to avoid the 1st 12 cabins or so....you should be ok where you are. You will be in the "forward" section....not always a bad thing!
Appreciate your response, cb at sea,

lol! The neighborhood is fine. It's mostly office park/industrial/executive airport and moderate-income housing nearby.
great! Thanks!!

How far in the fore would you consider a stateroom to be truly forward cabin, and will be subject to feeling more motion, especially if it is to get rough and will be plowing through high seas? Our staterooms are the 20th and 21st on Deck 7, (not including the several staterooms that are located across the front of our deck) and are being referred to as Forward cabins.
Thank you.

Thanks, royalcruz. Just want to make sure that we are in a decent neighborhood. Not somewhere that you "would not stay there if you paid me a million dollars".

Hi brunello22 and royalcruz:
It is at 6650 North Andrews Avenue for post-cruise stay. I understand that it is 12 miles away from FLL airport, but we will be having a rental car. The hotel offer complimentary parking. Thank you.

That sounds like a better idea.......you know, once you reach Deerfield
(or around there) you could get off 95 and go East and pick up A1A for
the last 1/2 hour-45 minutes or so.......;)
THANKS AGAIN, LOIS for the wonderful suggestion!:)
-
Please realize that the speed limit on A1A (30 - 35 mph in Broward and Palm Beach Counties; don't know about further north) is less than half that of I-95 (usually 70 which means most folks go 80 :D) and there are stop lights on A1A. I don't mean to dissuade you - I love the drive from Hillsboro Beach in northern Broward to Palm Beach (haven't gone further north on A1A) with the beautiful houses and frequent sightings of the ocean - but the entire route on A1A would take hours longer; maybe just do a section of A1A?
Thank you, Capriccio for letting me about the speed limit of 35 mph on A1A. Yikes! It might takes us forever to get up to Port Canaveral area! I will just stick to I-95 for both ways.
-
Hi Ellie:).....ummmm:eek:....not a scenic drive. I was talking about
I-95........straight run. There is A1A, but that would be a longer
drive but more scenic.
Thanks again, Lois. Got it, Straight run through I-95 would be fine. Depending on the situation, we might take the scenic route (A1A) driving up from Fort Lauderdale to Cape Canaveral since it be during day time on Saturday. However, would definitely take the I-95 driving back to Fort Lauderdale after we are done touring the entire day at Kennedy Space Center on Sunday, as we will be traveling in the evening.
-
Thank you, Lois for your response. 3 to 3.5 hours drive is not that bad, especially if it is an easy drive on a scenic road. We will just consider part of sight-seeing. So excited about our coming trip - first time to Florida!
-
We will disembark from our cruise on Saturday and will not be flying back until Monday afternoon, would like to know how long a drive would it be for us to visit Kennedy Space Center from Fort Lauderdale.
We are planning to drive to a hotel close by the Space Center on Saturday, spend the entire Sunday at the Space Center, and then drive back to Fort Lauderdale to stay overnight on Sunday, so that we will close by the airport for our flight on Monday.
Can someone familiar with Florida inform me whether it is doable or not, please? How long would the estimate travel time? Would we be encountering much travel on Saturday and Sunday?
Thank you.

Hello: Have a wonderful time on your cruise. May I ask for a favor? I am confused on what I am seeing on the Deck Plan for Deck 2, some indicated that there is a pair of restrooms right by cabin 2540 and some site show it as 2 blank white spaces. Can you please what is located all the way in the front on the port side of Deck 2? We also have an interior cabin for this cruise, as you have mentioned that it is so port-intensive and after a long day at port, we just will be using the cabin for shower and sleep. Thank you so much!
