I ordered 2 bottles of wine for our stateroom and I cannot find where I would see them online in my booking. Anybody know?

We were on the Valor in early Jan and you can easily sit with just the 3 of you if you prefer - even at the 7:00 pm time. Just tell the person with whom you check in. We ate around 7:00 each night and there we always tables of all sizes - except for on the first night, that tended to be more crowded.
-
For me I would take the extra day - I have never been bored on any ship big or small. All of them beat a day in the office!

Oh see - I believe once you have changed categories you nullify your Early Saver.....
-
I would so much rather have the drink coupon - even if the restrictions stay the same.

We dropped off our luggage around noon and were on the ship by 12:30. Lots of people dropped off even earlier. Once you are checked in and have your sign and sail card you can come and go from the Valor until about 8:00 pm.

Off the Valor just over a week. They do not have the Playlist productions - they still have the live band and the shows were Las Vegas style revues. Pretty good. There were a couple of bands rotating that played in the casino area and main lobby bar that played cover music - all were good. The best though was Ben from Nashville who played acoustic guitar at the main pool almost every day and then a couple of times in the main lobby bar. He was awesome!

We just got off the Valor about a week ago and had room 8299. Never noticed any noise from the Lido at all. Now the next door noisy neighbors - yeah that.

Just got back from from a week on the Carnival Valor and had a chance to do this hike with Spencer Ambrose. I love that he takes you there on a boat rather thant by car. You are out in the fresh air and sunshine and on the way back he shows you sites along the coast of St Lucia - wonderful. The hike itself is very strenuous but if you work relatively strenously on a regularl basis you should be ok. I am told between 50 -70% of the people make it to the top. The view from the half way point and the top were spectacular. You will be sore for the next day or 2 though. We also had Cameron (I wonder if Spencer specifically requests him) and as indicated he was quiet at first but was a great guide and willing to talk once you got him going. Round trip it took us just under 4 hours (I am 56, DH 58 and my 2 daughters 20 and 22 for reference). Jalousie beach is nothing special, but the lunch, rum punch and Piton beer served there along with the dip in the ocean after the hike were great. Highly recommend the whole experience.

19 days until we sail the Valor! Cannot come soon enough!

I am going to have to agree with the previous posters about the Southern Caribbean out of San Juan. We did the Valor last January and are doing it again because we like it so much. Each island is unique and although the Valor is a bit old it is clean and neat and the crew are great.

I think the original poster is asking about drink credits - where you buy say 8 drinks beforehand and use them as you go. There is no such thing on Carnival.

When we were on the Valor last year first week of January, the games were always broadcast in the Sports Bar. Best of all the packer game was broadcast from Green Bay onto the large outdoor movie screen and we watched the players and fans in the freezing cold while we sat in the sunshine and drank tropical drinks. That was heaven. The bad news is we had to go back to WI the next week

We just sailed Victory in Oct 2014. Yes it is not the newest ship in the fleet and the decor is a bit dated. But, it is clean, neat and the crew were awesome. No complaints here.

If you booked an early save and submit the lower price form to carnival - how long does it normally take to get an answer on whether they will honor it and give you on board credit?
-
I cannot remember what rate I booked at for my upcoming cruises. Where can I see that?
-
Make sure and see Jordan in the Piano Bar. He is awesome! BTW - no seahorses in there!
-
Just got off the Victory 10/9 - 10/13 and we had Jordan Peterson. He was absolutely awesome!

I know the bonus cards were only good for a limited period of time while the ones you actually bought have no expiration date. Could that be the problem?
-
And on the flip side - last girlfriends cruise 2 of us had box wine taken out of the box and put into our checked luggage and BOTH were confiscated. Plus we could not go and get them at the end of the cruise because they were considered opened.

NYJOE101 - Because you are in the same room, you will EACH need to buy an package and you will EACH have 15 drinks. You cannot buy one to share - if one adult in the room gets one, you both must.

In January 2014 we used Aloha which is right across the street from terminal 4 where the Valor docks. I think it was a couple of bucks per bag. They have an area right off the dining room where all the luggage is stored. They also give you a coupon for drinks/food discount. Very convenient and we found it more than safe

I looked on the excursions and only see the cabanas for rent on HMC. Do I have to wait until I get on board or even on HMC to get these items?

So I see that the wine once you buy the package is only available in the dining rooms? I assume this does not include the buffet - correct? Also, once you get a bottle can you take it out of the dining room to enjoy? elsewhere on the ship?
