We did Alaska last year on golden princess,booked a couple of trips through via tour we got bus approx 20 seater from Skagway 3-4 hours we went further than the white pass train,loads of picture opportunities,we even saw three bears the guide J J was great.Our cruise was southboundQ The tour price was much better than ships.Sure tours would be just as good northbound.Alaska is the best cruise we have taken.

The best way to apply online for India etourist visa is watch the steps on utube.as you need a 2/2 photo in JPEG and passport in PDF.when you have completed and payed you will receive email that says your visa is granted you then have to go back into the application website and print your visa that shows your picture.The cost for U.K. Citizen is $100 US.Were travelling on sapphire princess in October and will be in India for 11 hours.

Did Alaska on the golden last June Fantastic trip.The reason tissues have been taken out of the bathrooms is because unlike the toilet paper the Kleenex block up the toilets.

Golden Princess

Lovely ship we did Alaska in June .I agree the only downside was trying to get a seat at the IC we saw people sit with a glass of water and only leave for the early dinner sitting,they obviously had inside cabins ,but could have gone to one of the other lounges.Even the wait staff who were asking if any one would like coffees etc weren't able to move them on.Every thing else about the ship and the cruise was great.

You can also walk around Skagway,check out the red onion Saloon. Good prices on Jewellery.

One of our other stops was Ketchikan.The is a shuttle.although walking around the stores is not far.Creek Street is a must,used to be red light area lots of historyAlso a couple of good pubs.

Some really good tourist shops and Jackets wind and water proof were only about $17 us.If only we had not packed so much we really didn't need half of what we took.Hope this helps Alaska is a million times better in the flesh just magnificent,Enjoy.

Booked a 6and a half hour tour through viatour brilliant ,we went from Skagway,but they would also do tours from other places.The tour company through viatour was called Fronier excursions only about 20 seater bus.We saw three bears went for lunch to car across and were given plenty of photo stops ,We also went higher than the railway.Glad we did this tour,we went mid June,they also guarantee you get back to the ship in time or they will get you back to the next port.Was also less than the ships tours.Read their reviews.
