Anyone here know what (if any) bonus Princess offers in compensation for cruises that they have to cancel in December 2020 that were purchased with FCC from Princess cruises that were cancelled last March? 

Any thoughts on if the Ruby will be sailing to Hawaii in January 2021 as scheduled? 

Cancelled March 11 the March 15 sailing to Panama on the Emerald Princess. Filled out the form on March 16th and Princess refunded the taxes and port charges on May 1st. FFC are still not posted.  

Update. In fairness to Princess, when I reviewed my CC I did find that taxes and port charges were refunded May 1. I have had 9 cruises cancelled some booked almost 1 year ago so it’s a bit difficult to track, for Princess also as they told me last night that my tax and port refund was still pending. 

Called Princess and spoke with nice man Carl, when I asked about the status of my refund, he said it had been sent to finance and he said to hold he’d check with them then the line went dead at 7:01pm....

Princess answers the phone to get new bookings and to make it look to guests like it’s safe to make those bookings, thus taking in new funds that they may cancel those bookings on as well and not refund anyone, after months of asking for patience.

Cancelled my Panama cruise set to sail March 15 on March 11, filled out the form for FCC on March 12, on May 12 still nothing. 

Casino cancellation question on rebooking comp cabins. I have 7 comp VIP cruises that were recently canceled. I am wondering what bookings others are being offered to replace the VIP and other free cruises (just taxes and port charges) that were cancelled. It seems every time I call Princess I get a different answer regarding what Cruises are available with a comp cabin to replace those that were canceled. Anyone else with this issue?

Any news on start up dates for Northern Europe Cruises? I’ve got 3 booked starting July 25-Aug 24.

Upgraded a couple days ago on a casino comp ocean view to a premium balcony on The Ruby SF to Hawaii next January 👍. Now to see if they’ll move me to a port side cabin.

”A person being treated for coronavirus in Sonoma County had taken a Princess Cruises line to Mexico from the Port of San Francisco in February, Sonoma County public health officials confirmed Tuesday evening. 

The patient reported symptoms after the Feb. 11 to Feb. 21 voyage on the Grand Princess ship and is under treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Sonoma County, public health department spokesman Rohish Lal said. Officials announced the confirmed case Monday but did disclose the name of the ship. 

Princess Cruises offers a ten day trip from San Francisco to Mexico that takes passengers through Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

Outgoing public health officer, Dr. Celeste Philip, is leading the investigation to find other people who may have come into contact with the patient and may have been exposed to the virus within the county, Lal said. 

The patient had taken a shuttle from the San Francisco port to the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport. Anyone who may have been on that shuttle is asked to contact the health department at (707) 565-4566.”
