Silly me, I re-read the web page and it says "for fee." My brain saw "for free" the first time I read it. I guess we see what we want to see.

Never mind it says, "for a fee" and my brain saw "for free." I see what I want to see...

In researching I found on the Carnival site that the Java Blue Cafe is listed as "no cost" but when searching the menu there are prices. What gives?

We just received the same offer and are booked the Sunshine for 2/20. I agree about befriending the pit boss. Last cruise the pit bosses were great; friendly and funny. We chatted often and at length. Previous offers were for $25-$75 free play and some sort of discount. Now we're getting a free cruise and $200! WooHoo!

Love this thread. Why people do the things they do is so interesting. I believe that NN probably have life problems because they focus energy on others to avoid dealing with their own issues. Project much?

We live in CA & have taken the girls out of school 3 times. We told the schools - one in elementary & one in middle school - that we needed to attend a family event. Here, if you keep your kid out of school for 5+ days you can home-school them. This way the district gets paid & that's the biggest concern for the schools, imho.
This last time was hard on the 13 year old as she got behind in algebra & we'll have to be very strategic if we take them out of school again. Prior, there were no academic issues.

Place your dirty laundry on the shower floor. While you soap up, the clothes will get a coating of soapy water. Turn the shower off and tread the soapy water into the clothes for about 4 or 5 minutes. Then wring the soapy water out. Next rinse yourself off with the shower while again stepping on the clothes to allow the rinse water to remove the soap. Finally, wring out the clothes, and to remove more water, layer the clothes between towels and place on the floor of the stateroom and have the heaviest member of your party walk on them (gently, you don't want to disturb those in rooms below). Now the clothes are dry enough that they will not drip, so you can hang them on hangers from the ceiling where you lift the tiles slightly so that you can use the ceiling grids to hold the hangers.
Or, you could just pay HAL to do the laundry, but THAT IS THE COWARD'S WAY OUT!
lol - that's so funny. And true!
The Chef's Table?

We attended it on the Panorama last week. CDC guidelines won't allow guests in the galley so ours was held in the Carnival Kitchen. Amazing experience.
