Princess release states new suggested daily tip is increasing 11% for lower cabins and more for premium cabins.

This is the second increase for Princess this year.

I expect Celebrity to be announcing their new "suggested" tip amounts shortly.

Other cruise lines announced their increases in the past several days.

So , a few hours change is still a few less hours in port...and stuck on a completely full ship.

We were specifically wondering about the daily port exits for certain places where we would be going off on our own journey and would need every minute.

That question seems to have been answered and I take away that the room categories I mentioned in the original post would not benefit us for our specific request to get off any faster.

this is a lot of discussion for a group of liquids that passes thru your body in under 24 hours.

Thank you for your posts. I am not sure of the date of the cruise that the individual experienced the a/c problems, but I gather from the lack of complaints posted that this must have been an isolated incident or possibly the cruiser was from a northern territory and not aclimated to the humidity and temps in the south. Thanks again !

On another cruise chat page, there was mention of problems with the air conditioning on the Navigation deck. An individual said that his cabin and others were uncomfortably warm on a Caribbean cruise. He further states that workers from the ship engineering dept. told him there had been problems with the ducting on that deck prior to this cruise. There were no other cabins available for him to move to and he and his wife were given five hundred dollars credit towards a future cruise.

Has anyone on this board had a.c. problems on this deck on this ship ?
