I will be in Grenada over Christmas week, a busy time, I know! Grand Anse sounds like a beautiful beach! :)

At Umbrellas Beach Bar in Grand Anse Beach, are there chair and umbrella rentals close to the shoreline? Also, are there watersport rentals available nearby? Is this considered a more or less crowded spot on the beach?

I will also be there on New Year's Day :), so thank you for all of this helpful information. I will be traveling with family members that range from 15 years old to 80. Is the Coyoba Hotel going to be a nicer choice than Lazy Days? How far of a walk are both from the water taxi? Thank you!!

On Grande Anse Beach, I would like to find a scenic location right up at the water's edge, with chair/umbrella rentals as well as good food. What are the best options? AM I better off with a water taxi or cab?
