  1. If you win your Haven bid, you get everything "Haven" (butler, restaurant, sundeck, etc.) but unless you win a Haven Spa suite, you will lose the Spa Access that you currently have.

Your promo total will not change but you can switch what you currently have. For ex. if you have SDP now but want to change it, you can.

True! I upgraded from balcony to haven forward suite last year on breakaway. Your promo doesn't change, but you have a butler, haven restaurant, captains cocktail party, goodies delivered daily to your room, etc. enjoy your cruise!

  2. How do you see what's currently available? H6 7 ad H7 1?

I've stayed in the haven 3 times, balcony twice and minisuite once. All on the breakaway. The haven is very, very quiet. It was great for me when I needed rest and cruised solo. I took my adult kids once and they hated the haven. Too boring, too quiet, no music and went to the main pool every day. They only came back to the haven to sleep! Early embarkation is ok, but I'm a platinum tier so I get on after the haven guests anyway. Same with disembarkation. I learned that if you get one of the bag handlers to help with your bags you bypass all the lines and exit with the haven guests! My dining and show reservations are always made prior to the cruise so I never used concierge. I had just as much fun staying in the balcony and minisuite.

  3. On NCL breakaway last sept I won $3,200 on a penny quick hit slot! On carnival in the spring of 2017 I won $1,000 on a quarter poker slot. In 2014 on the breakaway I won $1,000 and then another $1,000 on the same quarter poker slot! After each of these wins I stopped playing so I wouldn't lose it.

  4. I rarely play slots, but hit a $3k jackpot on the NCL Breakaway earlier this month (last night of the cruise) while waiting for the poker table to open. It was a Quick Hits penny machine, and I was playing max bet $3.00.

I won &3200 on a Quick Hit penny slot on the breakaway in Sept 2017! Wonder if it was the same machine. I'll be on the breakaway in march and plan to visit that slot machine.

  5. Yulp, both times on the BA, they reserved several rows for Haven, might've been 3 or 4 at most - and marched them in as a group. Sorry, I had no clue where they met first for the escort but if you are sailing as such, I'm sure the concierge and/or butler will inform you.

We walked in about 15 or 20 minutes before showtime and sat a little further back, better for a quick egress :p This "VIP" seating area was maybe 6 or 7 rows ahead, half way down the movie theater (LOL, not exactly fitting to called it a show theater with the low ceiling & seats, as many noted - first impressions do matter). Most definitely, not up front & close - those're filled by early birds.

Simply lousy seat spacing and not a cup holder if you have a beverage, either hold that while watching or drink quick & leave it under the seat on the floor. Nice design - NOT

There most certainly is a cup holder at each seat!!!! Cruised on the breakaway 5 times. LOVE rock of ages!

  6. Well a couple of years ago I joined this forum and was given a rather frosty reception when I asked about gratuity policy and pricing on ships :(. I had never been a cruise at that time and thought my question was quite valid. Anyway, I was on Epic in 2010 as part of my honeymoon and have to say it was amazing.

This year we are on NCL Breakaway and we have went for the Aft facing Haven Penthouse 10912. Can not wait.. however I would love to get some pictures or movies of this room. Sad I know but just excited. Would any of you be able to oblige?:)

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

I booked the same suite (10912) for sept 2014 cruise. I would love to see any pics you may have. I can't wait to go!
