Hey J -
Looks like you rented a car in Port Canaveral. Can you tell me who you used? How the logistics worked? We are looking at doing that in Dec.
Thanks!
We did! We rented a Camaro Convertible from Hertz and it worked great! We took the shuttle right from the port where it was waiting for us and within 5 minutes we were at the Hertz location. No line as we were the only ship in port and were in our car in a snap. We drove to Orlando where we went to Gatorland and had a blast. We then drove to Cocoa Beach and had a seafood lunch on the water. Everything was great and Port Canaveral was our favorite stop as a result. Nassau...ugh. Freeport......ugh more!

Here's some of our food on the Pride

We had 4237 and while there was lots of vibration it didn't ruin the trip

Great meeting you as well sir! Till next time...

Here is a photo clip of my cruise! Enjoy!!!

Hard to find a lounger there as well. We had gorgeous weather on the sea days which hurt the chances as well. Regardless, phenomenal cruise!

Nope! Serenity was packed every day. Only time we found a spot was evenings and port days. Other than that, no chance. Thank got for the massive Vista Suite balcony, where we did all of our tanning! ;)

Yep just stalls/restaurants and the whole area was very depressing we couldn't wait to reboard our ship
-
We got off the boat, walked around for 20 minutes, and got back on. Terrible port.

The vibration was there, some days more than others, we taped some cabinets shut and took off the glasses that were rattling and we slept well. It was there, just not a deal breaker.

I'm thinking it was big enough for an adult to sleep on....didn't try though!

Not sure? First time I experienced it.

Didn't hear live music on the Lido...just a DJ and no "cruise" style Caribbean music...we got off regular style, no self assist and since I was in a wheel chair they brought me right to the front of the line. Off the ship at 10am in my car by 1015! Secret to casino? Lucky slots! Cruise director was okay. We spent most of our time on the huge balcony! Wasn't a fan when we saw him.

It was running towards the end of the cruise

Had a Vista Suite room 4237, absolutely amazing.
Only ate in the dining room twice....food was eh.
Weather was superb the entire trip, other than a morning in Freeport.
Did Chefs Table.....experience was incredible as was the food!
Ate in the Steakhouse two evenings. Beyond delicious.
Went to only one show, marriage show, hilarious.
Vibrations were apparent but didn't ruin the trip at all, in fact helped us sleep!
Alchemy bar....best bar on any ship!
Won big in the casino.
Overall great trip! We are pulling into Baltimore Harbor as I type.
Any questions????

I also am in a wheelchair....how does the line work with that? Same?

We can't do self assist and are currently in Zone 1 due to FTTF. How quickly does the line move? My girlfriend gets claustrophobic and we'd rather not stand waiting for too long, reason why I purchased FTTF. We come back tomorrow and had a great cruise!

We are currently cruising on the Pride and in Vista Suite 4237 and last night the vibrations were nuts but we slept. Things were shuttering and noises were pretty bad. Currently we have very light vibrations and no major problems. Either way you can beat the view and we love the room. The dining room is constantly vibrating but nothing horrible. I've never experienced this on any other ship. The weather has been perfect so far!

I have a knee scooter. I'm 32 and in good shape with my broken ankle. Will I be okay going up the ramp without assistance?

Awesome! Thank you!
