  1. The only thing that was crazy was getting everyone their belongings that we carried on the ship. Guests helped up getting things on board but once on, everyone scattered and didn't get their things.

The photographer called the room to check to see if I had gotten dressed. She wanted to be there during that process to take pictures.

Once she arrived I started to get dressed and she took some amazing pictures.

The coordinator called to let me know she would be up soon and allowed my maid of honor to stay with me.

Once she got us and we were down where the ceremony was to take place, my dad was waiting outside to walk me down the aisle. The ceremony was in the Limelight Lounge and was perfect, short and sweet. We did the sand ceremony and the remembrance verse as my mother and his father have both passed.

After the ceremony we took family pictures and anyone else who wanted to grab a picture with us. Our photographer was really wonderful.

  2. We got married 2/22/15 on the Carnival Breeze.

The day started early with hair and makeup at 645. There were 20 of us sailing so I arranged for us all to meet at one house and rented 2 super shuttle vans to have us all transported to the port. We arrived and were meet by our coordinators right after going through security. We were taken upstairs to check in and get our sail and sign cards. Once everyone got their cards we were taken to a separate room where most of our guests were already waiting. My now husband walked around and said hi to everyone while I meet with the coordinators and the officiant. I went over everything that we brought and she went over how things work for the ceremony.

We were gathered together and started the boarding process. We were on the ship by 1115. ImageUploadedByForums1425611845.114313.jpg.081d8af014c119173f8f6b7e10dde30a.jpg

There is some mixed consensus about whether or not you really have to pay for this... some people say as long as your non-sailing guests remove the "guest" badge they will be able to eat with no problems. That being said... I can't imagine it would bring good Karma on your wedding day. I think it is worth the small amount on money :)

When we did the ship your, we had our badges on and it was not an issue. The people serving the food are paying way more attention to what they are doing then what anyone is wearing. The badge is a clip on card that has a guest number on it.

As far as paying for guests, there is no telling what time everyone will board the ship. Even if you get on by 11-1130, everyone has to be shown where to go and that leaves little time after to get food, especially if people want to see the different decks.

We are letting our guests do what they want when they board. Some have shown interest in food while others just want to see everything that the ship has on board.

    Just a thought...

  4. Hello everyone!!! It's getting down to the wire for some of us including myself!! My wedding is less than 2 months away and I can't believe it! So! I sent out RSVPs and looked at the bookings..

So how many are attending your wedding and cruising with you?

We have I'm pretty sure 16 all sailing including us and almost 20 going to the wedding.

We are 8 days away. There are 20 of us sailing and 62 non-sailing guests

  5. I have also been considering Vanessa's Destination for my invitations as well. Did you do the design yourselves as well? Did you take them to be printed locally or just have Vanessa and Dave print.

We did all the designing ourselves. My FH stepfather owns a printing company so he printed them for us and we put them together. I emailed you the pictures of our invitation and the RSVP. We used the boarding pass as the RSVP and made it front and back so guests could send their required information back.

  6. It's $50 more for the extra tier. My FH and I had decided if we were going to get the 3 tier cake as we liked the look better than the 2 tier. We ended up with more than 50 guests so we had to pay the extra $150 which includes the 3 tier cake.

  7. I will email you pictures of our invitations. We ordered the template from Vanessa's destination (wedding passports.com). We printed them and assembled them ourselves. The invitations are done in adobe illustrator and they have YouTube videos to help. They are very friendly and quick to respond to orders or questions.

  8. We are getting married on the Breeze on Feb 22nd. We have purchased embossed napkins and color coordinated paper straws to put at the bar. I made a Mrs & Mr sign to hang on the cake table along with rose petals to scatter around. Our guest "book" is records with sharpies to sign and I personalized the sand ceremony vases.
